"Pete" a friend (LPGA player) was fitted by Titleist for the left dash and absolutely loves them! They sell out when they arrive at our local (Orlando) PGASuperstore..same day they arrive...at $52 a box! On a side note James, sure wish my swing and contact sounded as good as what I'm hearing on this video, Pete's approach shot at 04:15 ...man that sounds nice!! Thx for sharing with us James, it's always worth the time spent!
If you don't mind the firmness, longest titleist golf ball off the tee. TXG tested these on their launch monitor, and they were noticeably longer as you progressed to longer clubs in the bag. Driver was 10-15 yds longer than the reg Prov1x. I'm presently gaming these to knock down spin.
I just bought 4 dozen new Prov1 balls on a special through our golf pro for the price of 3 dozen. Been using them for 10 years. These new 2020 are a big step forward. Noticeably better b
@@apaulmcdonough2170 they certainly are going well compared to previous ones then. Maybe early release? Going well past my regular golf partner. you also got to have writing on them so I named them.
I currently play the left dash and love it. Tending to hit down 1 degree on driver, this has helped keep my spin rates down off the tee, but I haven't seen any loss of performance off of the irons or wedges. The only place I've struggled with feel is off of the putter face. I prefer to have a softer feel when I putt.
PETE..... I will cover postage and handling. And great video brother! Amazing how you reviewed these balls. Very honest and straight forward. Thanks James. You da man!
I've tried a dozen of these. Very good ball, but it is firmer than what I like, especially on and around the greens. Reminds me of the ProV1x from 2013
I've been playing with these for months. They are great. I'm a scratch golfer with higher swing speeds. No more ballooning tee shots and I didn't lose any spin on the greens. However, I have friends with lower swing speeds that hate them. It's a niche market for these I believe.
This "Left Dash" ball goes back at least 2 years while Titleist was developing the latest Generation of Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Closer to the prior Generation of Prov1x.
I must admit it did sound very hard on the video, don’t think I could game it with how hard it sounds, Pete’s birdie putt sounded like a rock when it hit the cup
I want the old Maxfli revolution ball back, one of the best. Titleist balls are good, but this old ball I like a tiny bit more. I think they discontinued it around year 2010. Also the Tiger Woods special edition Titleist or Nike made back in year 1999. That ball was really awesome, almost had no spin and really was so different. (low ball flight half spin and really firm to play with)
12:38 it was actually tested primarily by University golfers. Viktor Hovland and Austin Ekroat at Oklahoma State were some of the initial testers. PGA Tour is in a strange state where these young amateurs have higher swing speeds than the bulk of the pro guys
The crew at My Golf Spy, after Iron Byron testing, have said the Left Dash work well for higher swing speeds and (get this) slower swing speeds. Umm......ok.
I originally gamed the ProV1x because it was high launch/low spin. Now, the ProV1x isn't low spin & I don't like it as much. The Left Dash seems to have been brought back for people like me that want a lower spinning ball with driver.
Pete....It’s a great ball..I’ve been playing it all season...played the TP5x for 3 years. I doesn’t seem any harder than the TP5x gut I do like the better flight and spin around the greens
PETE. I just got a dozen of these as was interested in the extra distance and lesser spin as I struggle with spinning too much. Not sure I swing fast enough to get the most out of them though going on my first round with them. Definitely a noticeably harder ball around the green
James, I believe they came out with the “left dash” as the new proV1x was released with different characteristics a few years ago. Many people (including pros) who gamed the old version of the proV1x were outraged that their gamer ball was no longer available.
Pete! I have played the conventional ProV1x, and even have two of them in my bag currently; however, I prefer the Snell MTB-X ball. I'd love to try the ProV1x Left dash ball because it seems that this ball from Titleist is closest to the MTB-X that I play.
‘Pete’ - interesting time hear you talk about older ProV1s ... I used to play and love the 2017 ProV1x but I don’t like the new model anywhere near as much so I’ve swapped! Would be cool to see if there is any difference on flight scope between old and new! OH and I got fitted for my irons at GolfSupport - Great guys!
PETE. I’ve used Prov1X for a few years because I need higher launch and more spin. Got some left dashes but don’t quite suit me Allitle too firm but cool To have
James, I was thinking of using a Mitsubishi Jinsei orange for a suitable shaft replacement in my title is 505 and giving the exclusive use of the pro V one with the dock if that has a lower ball flight.
Would love to put my name in the hat for these, but I like a little bit softer feel. Especially with my new “SIM” driver, which I should be winning shortly 🤣

You bought the 2019 Ball. Next version is still a year away.

@@richardwalsh5570, It's still the same Ball released in 2019. Every 2 years is the norm for Titleist with the Pro V's.
Titleist did update the AVX.
Feel is important. When ball has right feel means compression correct for your swing speed.
Pete's a big guy... Carries his cart bag! 💪
nice view , the scenery is beautiful, thanks for sharing

"Pete" last time I used a pro V is when I found it. I have since donated it to the next golfer who found it
I donated mine to a river
That's good, stick to your girls ball of you are doing well with them.
@@ryancallander807 they still go the same way as the Pro V's #inthebush
Pete - Thanks for the opportunity to play with a top secret PRO V1X left dash ball
PETE.....
I will cover postage and handling.

Pete great little gesture fairplay
“Pete”. I’ve not bought myself Prov1s before but when I’ve used them it makes such a difference

"Let me see if I can get backspin..." And then don't clean out the clogged grooves on your clubs. How does this genius have so many followers?
Dunno mate… got an Aston as well.
Pete! I currently play the Pro V1x but didn’t even know they have brought a new 2020 version out. 🤞🏽
This "Left Dash" ball goes back at least 2 years while Titleist was developing the latest Generation of Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
Closer to the prior Generation of Prov1x.
Pete. That wedge shot on the last was superb!
Pete. Played with a ProV1x tonight. Not always what they are known for but had 5 x 1 putts
I must admit it did sound very hard on the video, don’t think I could game it with how hard it sounds, Pete’s birdie putt sounded like a rock when it hit the cup
Pete is a good 8 handicap, great addition to the channel if that's an option. Good video James.
Known a out this for about a year ....was US only until recently #TeamTitleist Titleist
Pete, thanks for the complimentary sleeve -PRO V1 😬👍😎
Pete.… never knew Titleist made these other types of pro v golf balls so a big thank you to yourself and Pete for making a cracking video on them
Pete. can't wait to try looking for these in the woods...
'Pete' - loving the channel mate, not long been playing and following all your videos. Cheers.
Pete. Titelist made the bomber golf ball.
Keep up the good work James! 👍💪😃
Pete - loved the old Pro V1x before they changed it to be the softer ball. Used to like the RZN black so don’t mind a firm ball 😂
This ball is my new gamer ball and it is fantastic and spins around the greens as well
“Pete” true legend and gent. Great video.

Pete. I am really into a performance golf balls. Tp-5 Tp-5x, Callaway Chrome soft and the pro v-1 family from titleist.
12:38 it was actually tested primarily by University golfers. Viktor Hovland and Austin Ekroat at Oklahoma State were some of the initial testers. PGA Tour is in a strange state where these young amateurs have higher swing speeds than the bulk of the pro guys
I just started using the tp5x pix balls after watching you play them the last few weeks. They are fantastic! Thank you
Pete. Keep the unreal videos comin Robbo. 🔥🇦🇺👍
Pete!
Keep up the good work, love the content. Definitely helps me get through boring night shifts!!!
Pete - It's hard to beat the "OLD" Pro v1
Love this ball. Got 4 dozen after they reopened their facilities.
Yes please test the left dash vs the standard prov1x.

Pete - I live in Worksop too so it’s only fair I have them 😂 although I play at Bondhay not WGC.
Pete, thanks for donating these balls to the cause😁
Pete - good stuff! Looking forward to trying these out.
"Pete" these balls would be perfect. Play the Pro V1x but would like a bit less spin. Great video.
Blame it on the ball James and yes, test it against the no dash and the AVX.
Steady there James - no need to fire that Scotty Cameron back in the bag so hard. LOL.
Pete....It’s a great ball..I’ve been playing it all season...played the TP5x for 3 years. I doesn’t seem any harder than the TP5x gut I do like the better flight and spin around the greens
Pete - I will pay shipping to the USA! Watch every day!
Pete Happy try give these a try to see if they last longer than my first drive of the round. (🏌🏽♂️ FORE LEFT )
Pete!
Never used a pro v1 before would be cool to have some to try out.. I have only used TP5 and never tried another ball to compare. Good video!
Pete. Do love Pro v1 usually ones I find. Good video again

“Pete” this would be the first pro V that I’d use that wasn’t a lake ball or one I found 😂
“Pete” I also play the “ProV 1x Left Behind”
Launch monitor test would be great i like a firm ball, hate the soft ball feel. Maybe try AVX ball too.
love the 7 adverts

Pete. I do like it when I find a pro V1..
"Pete".... currently use the Tour soft so be good to compare them
"PETE" - Love all the ProV range.
Pete! Very pleased with all of the creative content as of late James.
Pro v1 are a bit soft for me but I would give the new one a tfy if it's slightly harder
PETE. I’ve used Prov1X for a few years because I need higher launch and more spin. Got some left dashes but don’t quite suit me Allitle too firm but cool
To have
Pete
I love playing the Pro v 1x
Peet! 🤓. I don’t expect you to send them out from an old video but I still hope to try these out.
Check out TXG golfs review on UA-cam of the left dash ball verses the standard Pro V1x ball.
Pete nice to see new faces on the channel 👍🏌️♂️⛳🏌️♀️
Pete. Have been playing Pro V1x for some time now, interesting to see what the difference is.
“Pete” Pete seems like a lovely bloke, very kind of him to give them away!
James, I was thinking of using a Mitsubishi Jinsei orange for a suitable shaft replacement in my title is 505 and giving the exclusive use of the pro V one with the dock if that has a lower ball flight.
Yes, please test them on flightscope.
Pete. I use these, and they are firm.

Pete what a great golf ball lower spinning ball
Pete- would love to try these if it meant James didn't put adverts in every 4 minutes of a video
“ Pete “ love Prov1x best ball ever made
