Love the commentary on how body types in fashion has changed. I agree that these were darker times of the industry and it hangs over the whole show like a cloud. It’s also quite amazing to compare this show to Gucci now.
I like to imagine that they are actually back stage in a private viewing room watching all these shows live and throwing shade at all these models that they eventually meet after the show.

I'm the kind of person that loves to look at new clothes and admire different styles, sometimes buying them, but not really having any knowledge of fashion history or important fashion milestones. What I love about this series is it's sort of like a fashion history channel show. I live for the commentary and learning about the forerunners of fashion.

I want to say though, working as a fashion model for 9 years now, this job is not easy.
And you can’t just rely on looks for it. It takes talent, persistence, self confidence and acceptance even when people around you are judging all the time!
Specially starting at such a young age, it takes a lot to keep up with the critics, and having to travel the world staying away from your loved ones and all you know.
Yes we are genetically gifted, but we are hardworking and talented.
Just like you say “ it’s about looking yourself in the mirror and knowing what is wrong” and working it!
