- Here's how to fix a pinball machine showing an Adjustment Failure. Sorry this video is rough from a production standpoint, future videos will be much better. I kind of fumble with the test menu as well due to me trying run the camera while hitting the buttons.

This was so helpful thank you. My taxi has run for over a decade with no issue until now. This got me back up and running. Thanks. Also had no idea my game had batteries. (I didn’t need to do anything with them to get fixed)
Did you turn it off and turn it back on and experience the same issue?
If the batteries are okay but it still says adjust failure from time to time, ensure the battery contacts are actually making good, well, contact, with the batteries. If they do not, then the battery holder will eventually need replacing, but you can sometimes temporarily resurrect the battery holder, by bending the contacts in towards the batteries, or stretching the spring out (whatever kind of batt. holder it is: I have a completely different machine that has a soldered-in NiCd battery)
It is probably a good idea to run wires to a battery holder that is mounted off the mainboard. That way if the batteries ever leak, it doesn't ruin the mainboard.
The batteries are behind the translite in the backbox. You have to open the backbox, remove the translite, and get to the batteries there. I have another video that shows you how to get to the boards.
They are AA batteries, no?

did you just get lucky on this one? I think you got lucky.
Temporary fix. You should have followed that up with powering the machine off and then on again. My $ would be on it going back to adjustment failure.
