Theo is the man. This party does being a mixed crowed which is very cool. There are so many house heads but also many people there to drink beers outside on a Sunday. Def a cool party !
All i'm saying is it's the afternoon people are getting something to eat, a drink, catching up with their mates, having a bit of a boogie and there is probably 6-7 hours more to go so i am sure when the sun goes down and people are correctly refreshed it goes off.
Well they did also create disco, funk, garage, soul, jazz, hip hop, r&b, blues and rock&roll. Set the entire template for modern clubbing (the Loft), invent the beat mix, the remix, the re-edit, and the12" single. And have some of the best DJ's on the planet FK, Theo, Carl Craig, Rahaan, Danny Krivit, Frankie Knuckles, Rub n Tug, MCDE..etc. As for clubbing WMC is amazing, Vegas is one of the worlds most popular clubbing destinations, and the underground is strong in NY and LA.
i wasn't referring to this particular party when i was talking about general club cultures. this is actually looks like a really amazing gathering in this video, which is why i don't get why the crowd is so dead. you don't need 4am berghain for a little more enthusiasm.
i'll have to agree with everything you said. i'm a huge fan of what the usa contributed to music in the last decades. but nowadays it seems among all the crap, proper quality is rather hard to find and for good clubbing you'll have to dig way deeper (correct me if i'm wrong) than in europe. maybe the gems you might find there might be even better, i can't really judge that. sometimes though i feel that something american mentality prevents that raw and unfiltered club attitude you have in europe
the only thing the us started was detroit techno and the very roots of house. and even if you had started all this "shyt" (how hard is it to use your own language correctly?) it doesn't say anything about the current situation. regarding electronic club music, europe is so far superior in any aspect that it's not even worth a discussion. your clubs already close at the time they just open up in here. usa is an awesome place, just not for clubbing.
which pretends that u have been to every club in a country the size of the us. needless to say this is a waste of finger time. u dont know jack. all i know is what u havbe seen .and u aint seen much. we invented all u care to name kid. u name the music. its roots are the USA and its club culture. uk nor europe create shyt. without the very country u seem to hate on there would not be any club culture so ur point makes no sense. so dont try ans argue it. by all means.
i was there and still today i have goosebumps from this set.
For all the people asking for the tune, it's Glenn Underground - Afro Gente (Superb Entertainment Records)

Where are the foot-shifters, shape-throwers and floor pounders... Damn, this is music you feel not a coffee shop bean tasting!
glenn underground- afro gente

Mixer is an E&S DJR400
Are you joking? That is the Urei 1620A and an ARS3500 ISO
@@HateMinimal
True, but relax ... Theo Parrish has been a long time with an E&S DJR400 ... nothing to envy to the Urei 1620.
Isaac Hayes is alive!!!!
check 1:36
@staxstix yeah i agree, the crowd is lame, if this was UK, at Shiftless Shuffle we would be going mad
........... Really, you want to pull that card??
why? So the music makers can make less money and gain less fame???? Seems pretty scene defeating to not spread the music.
