Very very nice Pal. Im not sold on Contrast paints. You could pretty much dilute your base with a touch of brown on your wet pallete to hit your darker areas.
Absolutely love mephiston Red which i have been told is nearly a Brown! i own 16 different shades of Red; and Mephiston is definitely the Best, i believe Porsche have it as their Porsche Red (Cars).

Gorgeous work there mate. Highlanders are one of those units all Naps collectors want...but probably dread painting (its why I did mine in 6mm lol).

Another stunning unit mate I’m working on a set of victrix highlanders also the Cameron’s but progress is very slow I’ve just gone a week and a half without touching a brush sleep and work at the moment

Magic looking unit. I am using Contrast paints as part of the process on Napoleonics too. Blood Angels Red is one of the better ones, and often I am happy with the finish it gives without highlighting.

Really nice work mate. I am still not going to touch highlanders for a long while. I went to the Brunswick’s instead of a British Division to avoid them. Your tartan looks great.
