    Thank you. This gives me hope. Currently, I can't get anything to work - But now I know that it's possible at least.

    Hi Jan,
    Thank You for your videos.
    I do have question, we want to be completely wireless on conference table. There should not be any cables on the table, so in that case how to share wireless content on X50 from Windows laptop in Zoom & Teams meetings. Can't use HDMI in port, also is there any wireless expansion mic support to X50?

    Hello Jean, I would like to know if the Poly Studio X30 can be configured as a USB device on my computer and occupy my Zoom license for my video conferences. and how is it done? and what type of USB cable is correct. Thanks

      Hi thanks for your comments. You can use Studio X30 or X50 today in Hybrid mode in Zoom. In that case use Studio X30 or X50 (or G7500) as standalone room device or in BYOD mode using your own laptop and reuse camera speaker and mic in X30 X50 etc. You connect a USB-C cable from the Studio X30 or X50 (or G7500) to your laptop using USB-C or USB-A.. not special cable required length will depend if its USB 3.0 using 3 meters and USB 2.0 up to 5 meters... concerning Zoom licenses you can now login using a free or personal licence on the X30 X50 or G7500 very flexible...

    Can I instead using a HDMI linking my laptop to X50 in order to have a presentation? Or it is a must to present through miracast or Airplay?

    • @janzoetemelk

      Thanks for comments. In the StudioX or G7500 you have HDMI-in, Airplay and Miracast available. Be aware that in Poly mode (using Interop like RealConnect) you have all those sharing options available but when using specific App like Zoom, Teams etc the presentation methods could differ for example Zoom has there own Zoom App on any device to share content easily via a simple sharing key on the screen... does that help?

    Hello Jan,
    Is it possible to connect two display to Poly x50 & make a call on once screen & share presentation on another screen?

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  3 роки тому

      Thanks for your comments. The X50 and G7500 have dual screen output which means one screen participants and the other the presentation. It usually depends in which App mode but most of the Apps support now dual screen like Poly, Zoom, Teams and StarLeaf.

    Hi, really like the showcase of Polycom functionality. Can you tell me what is the best way to go if we need one for room up to 25 people? As I found out x50 support up to 8-10 people max.

    • @janzoetemelk

      @Marco Dantas thanks for your comments. Its a common question. The only challenge with X50 in bigger rooms would be the digital camera and mic depends on akoestic of the room if its optimal could be 10 a 12m. I have seen customers buying just one X50 and try them in different room usually bigger rooms would mean a room view as speaker track would be challenging at 10m thats usually piece of cake for the EED2.. also concerning mic if you have challenge concerning akoestic (lot of glass or windows) you can always add a Trio C60 with ext mics and pair that up with X50... does that help?

    is it possible to use it only with wifi? and not with lan cable? thx

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  4 роки тому +1

      Good question. In PolyVideo mode using H.323 - SIP both LAN and WiFi in X30-50 and G7500 will be available. In case of using one of the Native Apps it depends on the provider to make it available like Zoom, Teams etc

    Can you use this feature with Laptops removing the need for Polycom Pano ? So screens can be shared when not in the Teams/Skype meeting but using the room

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  4 роки тому

      Good comments absolutely the Pano function for Airplay and Miracast is build-in the Studio X30-50. So when there is no video meeting you can just share content on both screens and when in a video meeting its people video left and content right. In case of touch screen you can even annotate like with Pano and good to know if laptop doesn't support Miracast you can use the free Pano App or now called Content App from Poly available from the support website.

      @@janzoetemelk So does it create the separate Wi-Fi network like the g7500 or does the laptop have to be on the same (typically corporate) network? If it can do both that would be ideal.

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  4 роки тому

      @@davidmrlane Good comments. You can do miracast - airplay sharing over a corp lan network or connect X series-G7500 to a guest WiFi network for guest sharing you are right identical as Pano.
