- This cut works well for little boys with straight or mildly wavy hair.
While they’re young, I’m not giving them a super short buzz because I prefer a more carefree, classic, little boy look.
Trimming up the hair around the ears and along the neckline really helps to give it a nice fresh look, and from there I taper out to leave more length on top.
You are clearly an amazing mom, Jessa. I am amazed at how well behaved your boys are. You are confident and give clear, easy directions to them. You are doing a great job running your household.

I watched to see the haircut that you explained very well but ended up enjoying watching your oldest being so sweet to his little brother and hearing Henry singing Hymns that just melts your heart to know they are going through his mind, which says so much about what he hears. Great job parents! What a blessing.

I can't help but think on how well prepared for life you are Jessa! You are amazing! I have been a stay at home mom for the past 8 years and I still don't do as well as you though I had to learn a lot by myself. I want to do better with my girls than what I had myself. Growing up, my mom was a hair stylist but wanted to be home with us kids, so my dad converted our garage to a beauty salon and she was always home but had her own business! She taught me to cut hair and I enjoy cutting my boys', girls' and hubby's hair myself. My girls all have waist length hair, as I do but the boys have shorter hair, though they all have a choice in their hair lengths and my 13 yr old redheaded son likes his hair longer and I swear it's the exact style of Danny Bonaduce when he played in the Partridge Family show (he looks just like him!). I was looking for a better cut for my other 13 yr old son who only wants it out of his face and not hard to style, so I'm grateful for your video as he says he wants this cut!! I think you're very talented and this coming from the daughter of a woman who was earned a special award by Priscilla Presley for her styling techniques!! (It was through some huge name hair care product conglomerate). Great job Jessa!!

Jesee reminds me of when I was your age and had 3 little ones. I always did their hair. Amazing what we learn to do when we have babies of our own. You are a great mom. It shows always no matter what you are doing with your kids.

This reminds me of cutting my boys hair, the toy and tv distraction, having to go around a regular table chair as they constantly move around lol. Thats life! I too go for a little longer cut for the more natural look since they are still young and innocent. wonderful Mama!

I have cut my little boys hair 6 times previously and couldn't get it right and i ended up buzz cuttting it everytime. Well I tried today after watching your video and I managed to do it right and I'm super happy with how it turned out. Also your boys are absolutely gorgeous 😍 xx
