The full story is almost 1200 episodes. It’s a weekly series and it’s pretty horrible. It gets more ridiculous every episode. I listen to it because it’s free and I’m curious to see how much stupider it can get. It’s a good laugh if you approach it with the mindset that this is the dumbest thing ever written. The main character is the most arrogant narcissistic jerk ever, but the author tries to present him as humble and caring. It’s just poor writing. I also think there are several authors because the tone, vocabulary, and style switches ever few episodes. The story presents itself as being in America, but nothing sounds like the way people or society acts in America. They just use American names and cities at random, often not making sense. For example there is an episode when Alex flies from Washington DC to Baltimore. This makes no sense as it’s quicker to drive there than stand in the security line at the airport. I mean both cities essentially share the same airports, i.e. Baltimore Washington International airport. They often eat with chopsticks and pack “buns” as a meal for trips. There are many other clues that this story is written by a person not familiar with American culture and behavior. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but I’d just rather they set the story in a country they are more familiar with. This just adds to the bizarreness of the story. Like why is every city run by a chamber of Commerce that’s headed by a kung fu expert and all issues solved with a battle to the death? I’m sure this story was written by a 12 year old boy and a 13 year old girl from an East Asian country. Anyways, it’s on pocket fm for free. You can only listen to a few episodes a day unless you want to pay or watch a million ads. It’s a good laugh for when I drive to work.
