As someone who waited for the girls to debut I unfortunately knew this was going to be difficult for Jennie, because she already had a scandal when the teaser drop when BP was formerly known as PinkPunks. I think she has just changed according to time and situation. I'm not a blink but daily I come across some or the other video/post hating on her. As an ARMY and Blink I actually saw the difference in the behavior of the idols… Jennie used to love expressing her love and excitement to her fans but people always make an excuse to hate her. Hate her for being YG’s favorite. Favorite they say but never did anything when rumors spread about her. Tbh YG never did anything in support of their artists. No Blackpink members treated well including Jennie. All the rumors and hates made her so reserved and quiet. She afraid to smile now a days.
Same goes to Tae as well. I used to see Tae playful and cheered all the time. But again he became very quiet and reserved because of all the hate he gets. It really hurts to see them suffer. I feel bad for her she’s received so much hate on such a large scale compared to other idols including V from bts. I’m not saying the hate he received wasn’t bad but Jennie’s hate just was on another level. They criticized her for everything and when V accidentally followed Jennie on instagram. People called her a sl*t,h*e,who*re and even said that she slept with V. Which was uncalled for.

I'm quite concerned for Jennie after the Idol drops. The show seems quite adult, and many young fans are going to watch, people who see her as a baby are going to not like it, and people who just hate her, are going to pile on her.
It's not Jennie's fault if the company used her for clout, it's not Jennie's fault that the trailer is queerbating, besides I am concerned for her and the cast while they where filming, as they may have been made to film adult scenes.
I hope that didn't happen though.
The mental harm they can inflict on the idols is heartbreaking

People need to leave her alone. She's a sweetheart and a great artist. People are such internet warriors but I can guarantee they would be silent if faced in person. People need to get over themselves. Idols are humans too. They should be treated as such. Hating and shaming people puts a toll on one's mental health and that can lead to terrible consequences. But, I've noticed that only after something terrible happens to an idol do People say, "I'm gonna be a better person " or something stupid like that. Jennie doesn't deserve the hate she gets. In my opinion, people that hate on her for no reason are just unhappy bullies who need to get over themselves and find a productive hobby. Negativity for no reason is gonna make someone become more closed off. What's the point of being kind if it's only gonna be thrown back with malice? I hope people leave Jennie (and other idols alone).
