Hiking Cantwell Cliffs | Hocking Hills State Park | Hocking County, OH

The two trails at Cantwell Cliffs area of Hocking Hills State Park (1 mi. each) pack in an incredible amount of scenery, ranging from streams and waterfalls to cathedral-sized caves and large cliffs. The root-filled, rocky terrain, frequent elevation changes and tight crevices between cliffs and boulders makes for a challenging hike, as well. The surrounding forest has a mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees, with beautiful hemlocks lining both the rim of the gorge and along the stream that runs through the gorge.
