Seriously.. i wonder why the hell they did it. Oil cooler is not a tech gimmick and it is really functional.
I think this engine does not revv high like the ns160, so probably they removed it after testing the difference and saving some bucks in manufactoring.

One update missed - Oil cooler has been removed in USD version update of N160, may be due to which it ways 2KG less i.e. 152 KG now vs 154Kg previous.
but what about the engine oil capacity now? Is that also reduced as they removed oil cooling?
Is it having the same abs ride modes like the new n 250 ? as I could see road being written in the instrument cluster and also, If so, was it mentioned in the review ? And also you could dig a bit more deeper with the contacts at Bajaj just to check if it now comes with segment first slipper clutch because unlike tvs, lately, Bajaj doesn't seem too keen on advertising each and everything they put in their bikes.

Why oil cooler is removed
They have updated N160 with ABS modes and Turn By Turn as well. See the display shows Road mode.
Bajaj is so quick to update their entire line-up of Pulsars.

Yes I feel the same but it is just 160cc so it is manageable
@@arunkiran3502 i personally felt like instead of changing it aesthetically, there should have been given the same oil cooled engine cause its the core of any bike.
i think they must have seen the test results of both the engine and removed it as cost cutting,
just saw a drag race video of this new update vs the old oil cooled one, the new is tuned more for initial and mid with less top end vs the old one. The old one has better top end .
So i think with this change they are assuming the buyer will be riding the bike mostly under 6k rpm in city.

Hi Dino. Just to ask is it a reliable bike for long term in terms of engine refinement and handling as Bajaj tends to fail in performance in the long run. Wanted your genuine views on this
Honestly I've heard about similar complaints but let me tell u about a few ownership experiences.
1. My Pulsar 180 served me for 6 years. No major issues and surprisingly mileage was 48 kmpl.
2. My friend owner Pulsar 150 and ran it for 1.3 lac kms. He bought NS200.
3. Another friend owned Pulsar 150, again 1 lac kms ridden, and he was so happy that he bought new Pulsar 150 again.
It's all about riding the bike in the right rpm and right gear and right speed and maintaining it well with timely service.
Bro any engine can last longer if u ride it properly & don't let others ride your bike. My father's 2012 Shine is still working like a charm it's been more than a decade. My father is the only one who rides it, so yeah maintenance & proper riding is the only key to last longer

I hate the dull colors bajaj gives on the USDs in their bikes. Looks plasticy and cheap to me. Wish it was either fully black or properly metallic gold or silver coloured.

So to differentiate it atleast they gave new colours on the 250 but not 160
So that both 160 & 250 can be differentiated and the 250 buyers don't feel betrayed or sad that same looking bike is running which is almost 20 to 30k cheaper in price

Yes u can but it is completely waste. It doesnt matter usd or telescopic only the size matters 37mm. Premium bikes has 43mm size. Higher the size higher the comfort,etc

Bajaj is betraying their customers by giving non reliability bike and updating every month. Which will make part available problem for old user
This may have been given with a slipper clutch, they provided slipper clutch in the Ns200 2024 model but they did not reveal it, same may be the case with the N160.

Bajaj updated NS160 with its trye width almost 3-4 times and again played with suspension, now digital meter and LED light etc.
Simple question. Why they didn't update NS160 a later when the Dominar released??
Answer :They test the patience of fans and also Bajaj is very much into analysing sales charts and never change anything when its selling decently.
Next they released P150 with 2 versions and N160 and both with DTS-I. Then they removed DTS I and released N160 and N150.
Now this version with updates in this video.
Where as TVS was very very much consistent with RTR 1604V. Carb model and now FI with LEDs.
We have RTR1604V twin disc and no one with the same model bothers or envy with new model.
P. S we also own P220 BS6.
Not only Bajaj, even other manufacturers does the same. But no one can beat Bajaj 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Pulsar has perfect ergonomics for taller riders, Apache was such a pain to ride which is why i had to reject right away

You or me cant be Rossi with USD forks. Even our Pulsar 220 corners well (depends on limitations) in regular basis.
If you want to sell it then sell it immediately. Else as you said it may not fetch 1 lakh.
And trust me, Bajaj even updates it further. So chill

Previously I owned cbr250r, switched to n160 on this March but missing that cbr engine. So thinking to buy cb300r or any other 250-400cc bike. Still I'm yet to receive physical RC of this N160😂 So thought of selling after 6-8 months thinking new one would launch next year😂
