Well there's no other way to get a ticket if you ren't a season holder
The former FC Barcelona president, Sandro Rosell, had the 6% of Viagogo. Shame.
The only way out of this is to sell personalized tickets. Like a guest list, the buyer puts a name on the ticket and only that person can get past the entry gate. No need of actual ticket. Show your ID card and get in.
This is a great idea for local fans, but what about clubs that thousands of tourists showing up just to support their favorite club?

Absolutely impossible to do this. The time it would take to check everyone simply makes it an unviable option
@@10nino10 Not really. Almost all govt approved id proofs can be quickly scanned and verified now a days. It would take the same amount of time as it takes to check tickets.

But there's no law dictating prices here. If there was, it will be bad. What exist here, is a mindless ban on ticket reselling that serves nothing.
What's the big deal here?? Buying a valid ticket in the secondary market?? Really? In the USA, we worry that the tickets we buy from the secondary market are not fraudulent.

Things are not like in the past. Both team fans set next to each other in peace, just like what happens in international tournaments. Many away-team fans buy tickets in the home section. Nothing really happens.
Prices? That's incumbent upon the the clubs to regulate it initial sales.

Time to buy tickets for shef utd, southampton, west ham, bourne, crystal, aston, and burnley started at 8:15 am. 8:15 i was on the queue, and stil, tickets were sold out...

Tickets should be sold through clubs no other source if overseas game show passport at pick up point other wise no ticket job done.

I gladly pay more to see a match if the official tickets sell out so quickly and I have no chance to get one for the regular price. Any application for a major tournament has been declined for me until now. I am buying on such sites. What can you do, it is how it is.

Where did they actually bought the ticket ? Did they bought it at the stadium
Just get rid of pre-booking. Let people pay at the entrance. Problem solved. Let people book a spot online, but they can only pay at the gate... and when they pay for the ticket - and enter, they can't then go outside the stadium and re-enter again without a new ticket.
C. Lincoln youd still get loads of people outside which they said was an issue, I dont know why they cant just auction off tickets, so the price becomes what people are willing to pay and resale would be usless

I think everyone is getting completely fed up/frustrated by the current state of the ticketing industry. GUTS tickets by using their GET protocol already exists with a working product and is already tackling these problems by making it impossible to resell tickets at prices higher than the original cost....the ticket industry can be revolutionized by GUTS... Ticket rip offs and touts doesn't have to be a thing anymore!!

It's not about peace, we want to sit with our OWN fans. One of the best parts about going to games is the community feel you get in the home end with fans alike and having banter with the away fans when you score etc.
Public needs to boycott all professional sports for at least three years.
