Steve and Eric need a UA-cam channel. Tim, bring us back for a more extensive shop tour.
Agreed
Yep, need more of this shop
Professionals... nothing more intensely impressive than a wildly competent craftsman at work.
Damn, as a machinist myself, i have to say thats machine-shop heaven....i´m impressed......
it's nice getting videos every day, I could get used to this.
It is it rlly is
But if it doesn't pay out for him he won't do it again. I'm sure it's a lot of work editing and such. So make sure to tell friends and share
It’s great
@@chrispynaples sadly I do doubt that this will pay out, sense UA-cam only promotes videos with large watch time I doubt if these videos remain 6 minutes long that UA-cam will push these
Hello Tim. My father called me today to let me know that he received the 1908 Blackhawk hatchet. He was very excited and pleased to have a match for the Hudson Bay Axe. He said, "They're a work of art."
It's always nice to see a proper machine shop still rocking the classic manual machines. Too many shops have switched to all cnc machines.
I'm not normally a fan of shop tours, but this was cool . All of 5he old school machines. You are a lucky dog.
Stupid cool how the old school machines just keep pumping out great creations.
So nice to see someone else who gets so excited by big toys
Bigboy Tooling! Damm.. Steve and Eric have a wicked shop ! Thanks for taking us along Tim !
Nobody does it like the Old Boys, they know their stuff!
Geez! Overhead hoist to move your chucks! Makes me feel like a little kid... Also gear cutting is a true art. I bet steve could talk for a week about the different machines, and how they came by them... Cool cool cool!
Also on a side note could you imagine having enough equipment that you never had to reconfigure your tooling? Unless you were doing something new...
thats my favorite thing about your upsetter. It holds multiple dies, and you just run a piece through the processes without a bunch of fiddling around.
One of the most amazing workshops I have seen on UA-cam - I wonder what abom79 would say about it.
BIG smile. I used to do a lot of machining as a side job and oh dear do i MISS it. Such a cool trade.
That was cool! Thanks for sharing. I'm not a machinist, but I'd love to watch those experts work for a day...
This was very satisfying. That shop is amazing and those machinists are brilliant.
Love to see old machine still workings and making Parts
Could you just snag one of those mills for me? Think they would notice one missing?
Love that old school machine shop stuff, thanks Tim.
The skill can be bought, but the experience once it's gone it's gone.
Play safe From Elliot Lake Ontario Canada.
Nice to see that in the lower mainland. I was in Sumas today and I miss being able t go to Abbotsford instead of Bellingham for certain things.
Imagine cutting loose with all them machines , Man what dream . :)
Wow if you learned your trade in that work shop as an apprentice. You would walk out really knowing your stuff. Thanks for sharing that Tim
Dude that video was so rad it’s amazing how a lot of those machines were built over 50 years ago tools to make tools to make tools keep making more awesome videos your music choices are also awesome I keep having to Shazam your videos cuz I want some of those songs on my playlist!
We need a longer cut.
Let Steve talk.
Amazing stuff man.
Wonderful stuff, love seeing this rarely explained world.
Where's the collab with FireBall Tools? My guy this content is simply the best there is, keep doing you!
The skills and knowledge these guys have. Dang. Very cool.
My GOODNESS! Now THAT is a mill
Damn that's a cool machine shop. A serious, proper, fully equipped manual and CNC machine shop- which is a rare beast these days. I lived in the Sumas area for a few years, kind of mind blowing to think this was right across the border from cowtown there... anyway, great video!
You gotta get more tours of this shop. Holy smokes!!!
Serious eye candy, huge ring roller, that stock rack is awsome. vertical shaper for external and internal tooth cutting to keep alignment.nice, sorry i was distracted.
Those guys are a dying breed and true craftsman. Im too old to learn those tricks so I hope there are some young people eager to learn this trade. Truly amazing! Thanks for the BTS. Awesome.
You are never too old to learn anything!
I intend to be one of them... Let me tell you, I will not let the knowledge of masters like them go away!
Honestly, I'm super stoked that I get to see what fault life is like up there in Tim the Blacksmith, British Columbia! Keep it up! I watch every episode and though I'm sure editing an episode a day is crazy stressful, I just want you to know, your fans appreciate it so much!
Great job. Looking good. Can't wait to see more videos. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Tim. Forge On. Keep Making. God Bless.
One of my favorite videos!!!
Man this was insane seeing those machines
Keep up the daily videos, Love it!
We need to see more of that machine shop please.
Nice to watch the baby at the toy store 😁
I love looking around shops like that, You could easily make a whole series of just walking around their shop id bet.
Yay!!! I would love to work in this shop!
I’m a big fan of the axes so , Tim any time you want to nerd out on axes is 😎
Wow, talk about shop goals!
Great visit to shop where stuff gets done by the pros. Thanks Tim!
Adam Savage would have a field day!
What an amazing shop.
Im sooo happy to see machines like this
I welcome the videos more often, do not have to put too much effort into editing, you can also get help from your partner if there is - your day to day, it's great. Req: more of Martin.

The guy with the Mask is he the Lone Ranger .
So cool!
I don’t even want to imagine how many times these guys have been burned on their hands while heating up the rings with a torch. Lol.
Love the content keep it up
This was hypnotizing
Awesome!
Sick vid brah
Very interesting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim: This table! Look at this table!!
That had to of been the mosst hilarious part of the video mate lol
YAY for machinists! And I guess for blacksmiths, too.....I suppose.
wow,Wow, WOW
"Robots and CNC are going to take your jobs" is never more foolish than when you see guys like this.
👍
Wow
I tink that you are in great britain
This is like Tim going to Willy Wonkas
Like a kid in a candy store.
Saw a survey question about whether or not you should upload daily. That might make production of items take a whole lot longer. Maybe two or three videos a week? Anyway, good quality videos! Keep it going!
Tim died and went to machine heaven
FYI I've heard 10 minutes is a good length of video to gain from
Wow, if I just had 1/10th the skill
They sacrificed their lives to the mechanicum. There is no greater honor.
I am not worthy, I am not worthy! LOL That machine shop could probably make every component of every machine in that shop...... you would literally never have to order in a replacement for anything, just the raw stock! Ok, that's probably not the most cost effective way to do it considering how much their time is worth but it's handy knowing that at 7pm on a Sunday evening if anything breaks they can fix it AND still have the product finished first thing Monday morning. Why can't they be on UA-cam? Nothing special, just a couple of live camera's on 24/7..... I'd just leave it on as company while I slept 😂🤣😂🤣😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
you should see my raw material stockroom LMAO
Maybe send @abom79 some work for a colab!
how about a circular telsa turbine pump ramjet
its just some slotted gearless gears on an axle in an enclosure, with center axle in, one plate aligned direction output funnel
if you decide to try that engine, send me one too
very high rpm, should keep it in gyro position by the spin itself
mechanical gyro stabilization
Kid in a candy shop?
There is an art form that is being lost to automation
this video was thirty minutes too short...stop doing the fancy editing and do the long videos also...or do both...show a raw long and a short...
