    Great video.
    You're actually putting the downhill assist to the test properly which I respect. Others I've watched just seemed to " talk " or complain about it.
    Yeah you'd think that maybe as soon as the rider applies the brakes or a combination of the two that it would automatically disengage the feature and not override it. And as soon as you release the brake it wants to continue on as well?
    This however hasn't detoured me from getting one and is really the only real issue that I've seen or heard.
    Keep the Videos rolling and as always enjoy the ride!

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance 16 днів тому +2

      Yes. When hitting the brake it pushes through and overrides the brake for anywhere between 3-10 feet it’s not consistent with the tests we ran. Once it does stop if your still on an incline once you let off the brake it will continue wich is fine. But they need to refine that brake and that feature shutting off as soon as you tap the brake. Good thing is you can turn it off and that’s what we did. Even if they fine tune it i probably still won’t use it I want to be in full control the whole time.

      Nice feature but I know I'll never use it besides the initial
      " Let's try this " idea lol. As a rider I want full control not some computer telling me what's what.
      I'll be getting one as soon as my dealer gets these Gen 3's in

    I rode my 2009 Grizzly 450 in high range with 2 people for 3500 miles up steep hills and all belt is 15 yrs old never had a problem with slippage. Not that I don’t like CF moto I have a 2024 Uforce 600 that I love !

    You are right about the resale value of the CF Moto I traded in my 800 for my new 1000 because I didn’t have room for another quad quite a few already lol and a couple of side by side’s the downhill assist like you said works in some situations not others. I did get my skid plates in this week from iron Baltic aluminum ones went riding in pa this weekend got 145 miles on it now and I will say way less heat than my old 800 I can now ride with shorts 😂

    My first Atv ever was the 2024 CForce 800xc . I’m pretty sure my next Atv is going to be the Polaris 1000 touring ultimate. Think about it by time I paid for upgraded skid plates , Rear Storage Front Storage , Fix the clutch problem with a kit you’re only a couple grand or less away from a Can Am or a Polaris. My 800xc was 11000 grand off the floor out the door. After upgrades 2 grand in upgrades which puts you at 13,000. The Polaris is still 3grand more but if you buy when Polaris or Can Am have rebates it could get the price more comparable. I really do love my CF Moto but I am not happy with the fact that for rear storage 700$ front storage 500$ skid plates good ones 599$ it’s just crazy oh clutch kits upwards of 359$

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance 16 днів тому

      Polaris is number one in recalls. Atv, utv, snowmobile. I wouldn't by a Polaris for those reasons. For the price you can't beat a cfmoto. $4000 more for a basic Polaris. Can am not much better in Recalls

    RNG: My zforce 800 ex seems to have left a puddle under the left side of the front. It is not heavy oil - seems more like front diff oil. Does that mean I have to change the bearing / seal in the front diff? The machine hasn't been used at all since last summer and now suddenly there is a puddle under it. Can I still use it? What should I do? Is it difficult to take out the front diff and put in new bearings / seals?

    At least take off is alot smoother than the 1000 Overland. Heat on the 1000 was another issue for me also. Sold it, cool atv though.

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance 16 днів тому

      Yeah it’s smoother. But the clutch needs allot of work. It’s all RPM no shift feels like. It’s fast but it can be faster using that kind of RPM.

    It looks like a great unit! I'm looking to sell my old 800 to purchase this new one, I'll probably go for the 1000 cause the difference in price is so small here it's worth it for the gas shocks. I don't think the DAC thingy will be a problem at me since I'm not driving on the mountains. However why does the brake lever keep locking itself when braking extra hard, doesn't it have the same design on the brake lever as the other models? I also have a question about the display, do you think it will get scratched easily? I'm looking to keep it anywhere in the range from 5-10 years and maybe I would consider applying a screen film over it or something to keep it nice. Looking forward to more videos!

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance 15 днів тому +1

      It’s not a bad unit for sure. You really can’t beat the ride quality of this unit. With that said I’m not fond of CFMOTO suspension their shocks are made super cheap and don’t last. The screen will definitely get scratched I left the film on mine until I can find a protector for it. The brake yeah it all looks the same I don’t know why this might just be something I need to have the dealer replace under warranty because it is super super annoying.

    I like the idea of the shifter on the right side and the hand brake on the left and the sport mode option but thats about it for me.. your talking about the other older models withe the shifting issue but my 2022 800xc has no shifting problem on a hill or mud hole whats so ever if it doesn't shift all I have to do is touch the brake then it goes right in.. maybe I just got lucky with that then

    "It'll fit 2 american sized folks on it, we like hamburgers, ya know what I'm saying" I fucking died at that comment. But youre right though, I myself was amazed, my girlfriend and I are "Canadian sized folks" and both of us fit on a previous gen 800xc fine as kind, it was almost perfect, didnt need any more room, but wouldnt want any less. You find that theres any more room on these chassis, are they any longer than previous gen or pretty comparable? Im currently biding my time, im pretty sure the plan is to roll these new models into canada for 2025 and dealerships will be looking to unload old stock, so I might be able to get a good deal on a previous generation 800 or 1000. We also have a local argo dealer which are rebranded KYMCO & TGB Quads, their 1000 touring looks to be a nice unit as well, have you any experience with the Argo ATVs, or have you even seen them? Ive been told by another youtuber that there really isnt an established dealer network in his state. Argo is a canadian brand, I have 3 dealerships within my area, as well as Can Am/CFMoto dealers.

But I have allot of experience with kymco and they are an amazing brand. Good quality. Kawasaki also uses kymco for bruteforce models.
