Maize flour In south africa we make Pap with it. I love how it's prepared differently as you travel around each African country. I'm black and grew up in a township. Seeing you Danni reminds me of what an adjustment it was for me to visit in the village. Cooking with fire and fetching water and the heat I have no words for it😅. So I admire you a lot for doing it. I learned a few things in the village and I'm able to adjust wherever I am. It's good to get out of one's comfort zone.

Here what we do after the mingle we wrap it in banana leaves and steam it by putting it back on fire. That means prepare another saucepan with water put in some small banana stems so yr posho is not direct in water. Put in the posho and cover with banana leaves. Let it boil for 20 mins. Serve.

i am concern when u throw the white thing u had in the small Pot into the big pot and u hit the bottom of it ,i am sure dust went into that food because the small pot was on the ground ,i love u all but i am concern about that , and everything is open on the ground nothing is covered ,out of Barbados
