- This was a version of our cliff fight we planned on doing in the movie. Plans changed, schedules got rearranged and pushed. Now that the movie is out on DVD and digital release, I would like to share with everyone the hard work our team put in to trying to bring the spirit of the source material while playing around with new action set peaces and reasons for why some of the Rangers fight the way they do. Fun show, hard but we all had an amazing time at the end of it all. I miss my Canada family. Enjoy :-)

Unbelievable that this got cut. It was exactly what I wanted from a Power Rangers movie.
Seriously this fight scene was far better the one used was very anticlimactic and fast this was well done minus black running away
Rick Beck This fought would have just about saved the movie for me. I was rather disappointed that they spent so much movie on the Breakfast Club part of the movie and so had to cram all the fighting into the last 15 minutes!
@@philipmonihan8222But none of them are supposed to be good at fighting. This is their origin story. How they become The Power Rangers. The end should've definitely had this fight choreography yes, but the sequel could've had this stuff because they're the power Rangers, now. There should've been a sequel, ffs.
@@No-Lie-I-Want-To-Die There are a lot of origin story movies out there today... and many of them never got sequels. It's a common mistake to save all the good stuff for the sequel. It often means nobody goes to see the first movie and so the sequel doesn't get made.
@@philipmonihan8222 What do you mean save all the good stuff? The film was always gonna have them be the power rangers in the third act. The only problem was the third act should've been better. That's the only problem. What you wanted was a power rangers film like the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers film where they're already Power Rangers. You basically wanted a cheesy 90's film. But this film did a good job by introducing the drama and seriousness. The film didn't do so well but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good. It should've got a sequel, it's just Hollywood is run by idiots. They only care about money and that's why movies end up sucking ass.
This definitely should have been in the movie.

Insane that this didn't make the film!! This would have completely changed the level of excitement for a lot of moviegoers. Not to mention this is what I thought a power rangers fight would actually look like on screen. Instead we got 40 seconds of generic action and then jump to zords...
Tim Ayers Yeah. They just throw a few kicks and then are immediately overpowered. Seriously? They had to call out the zords to kill the grunts? Lame!!!
Power Rangers usually bust out their weapons and destroy whole platoons of grunts each. only Red had a weapon and it lacks POWER, it was just a sword.....SMH
They're fools for not even having this fight scene period!

Yellow and Pink were ruthless. All of them were fantastic.
I can't believe this didn't get prioritized. Martial Arts based superheroes is what makes them stand out from all other superheroes. There are great superhero movies, great Kung Fu movies, but none that really blend the two together and Power Rangers easily should be the one.
SmoothLegend shoot if it was produced and direxted by same people for Deadpool we would have got some awesome fighting scenes from this guy creating fighting scenes plus he would have been working overtime keep up 😂

Amazing. That's why I'll keep saying that as much as the actors make the
characters likeable, it's the stunts who are the real Power Rangers and
the ones who make the show truly enjoyable.

Spider Phoenix they did want to make this movie the origin. You can tell that the director changed the characters (change as in they are different than in the old series), so that's why they went for more origin less action. I did hate that there was less action, but I did want to know about each character. Instead of blindly looking at action and not caring about the character.
TeK Less action? Try nonexistent. So little happened. Inframan taught us the origin should take up the first 15 minutes (30 at the outside) and leave room for at least 3 morphs.
The wangst teen drama was important and was necessary in its entirety (well, at least all the scenes in the theatrical release anyway)... Then again the film was missing action, if this scene was included I would dare say the film would’ve been just about perfect. I’m fairly sure the reason why they didn’t include it was a timing issue, since they probably wanted to keep the film at 2 hrs, but they could’ve filmed it then cut it as a deleted scene. Kinda makes me disappointed that they didn’t even do that

Hi AaronZG! Amazing work by you and your team! I really wish this was in the movie! I can see all the hard work you guys put into this scene and it's a shame it was cut. I'm a Power Rangers fan and I love how you guys added the flipping over the camera scene! =D. I see the view count on this video is no where near what I feel it should be and your hard work should be seen by every Power Rangers fan out there, so I made a video linking to your video which should help draw traffic to your video. This needs to be in the 2nd film. I still like the movie but more of this.
I'm pretty sure this was cut because probably the original idea of the putty's was that they were gonna be more humanoid monsters but during production, there were a lot of changes to the putty design that once they realize they were gonna be full-blown CGI monsters, they scrapped the fight.
This definitely should have been in the film, by far the best fight scene they could have had and earned the desired outcome they were after. Hell this with the stunt doubles in the Power Rangers outfits, could have easily been the main attractive feature, as part of the trailer, to entice the audience in big numbers to watch the film.
My question is why is Hollywood run by a bunch of cretins, who cannot yet get the right balance, between the dramatic dialogue scenes, as well as the Hong Kong style, martial arts, action choreography.
A perfect example is Drive, with Mark Dacascos, choreographed by Koichi Sakamoto and his Alpha Stunts Team. They were the original stunt team and action designers for Power Rangers, for many of the series. Now Drive is what Rush Hour with Jackie Chan could have been, since after all it was the rip off film idea, New Line Cinema stole heavily from. No offence to Jackie Chan he is great, but not as great in Hollywood films as he is in his Hong Kong films.
To me the new Power Rangers film should have been directed by Steve Wang, the director of Drive and we could have seen a perfect balance of the dramatic scenes, with this awesome type of action sequences. What a shame, given the USA has very talented martial artists, as well as stunt performers, however as I said a bunch of morons, in charge of Hollywood fim productions. Well done to the stunt team of this video, you are all amazing. 👍 😊 ✌

Jamyang Pelsang A while ago the movie was described as Breakfast Club meets Avengers. Problem is, there's far too much Breakfast Club at the expense of awesome fun like this.
I just saw it last night. And there's definitely more of the Breakfast Club kind of feel than Avengers. But not necessarily in a good way. It was interesting towards the beginning with some witty dialogue and likable characters. But later on every scene meant to be dramatic just became generic and cliched. Not to mention some random transitions between certain scenes, and unfortunately, unsatisfying action sequences. Oh well, maybe next time there'll be a better remake....
Jamyang Pelsang Some of the decisions they made were rather disappointing. I put the downfall to the movie's pacing.
The little FX makes this even more enjoyable. Such a pity this got cut, and we will never see it in a sequel either :(

See, this is all I wanted from this film. I had a feeling they might have done something like this, considering the look of the puddies. Great stuff none the less, shame it was cut.

Woah I loved fight scenes in movies but felt like cutting alot cooler stuff. This just made me feel better knowing this could been awesome. Sometimes cut out best action parts and I'm sure regret it alot.

@@philipmonihan8222 You know what, I hated the underwater scene too, and it amazes me that more people don't despise it. You couldn't see anything, it's just a blurry mess, and it's like, there's a reason we don't see lots of underwater martial arts scenes, because they don't look good at all.

i don't get why Saban didn't give the other the rangers their weapons as well. power daggers, power axe, power bow, power lance.

Apparently this was supposed to be the original fight after the morph but scheduling conflicts occurred and so this had to be re-choreographed. A bit of a shame considering this was really well done
because the director didn't make this a priority, and he wasted too much time and money on the suits and breakfast

why wasn't this in the movie again
So i came here because i just had a dream about me being the green ranger, i was fighting crime and aliens but then for some reason i was fighting the blue ranger and pink for no reason. Skip to the end, i was 2v1ing pink and another pink. I fought and kicked them into shallow water but then more pink rangers came from other universes and when they kept appearing, i said wtf and the ones that were in the water were laughing their butt off. I then looked at them and saw two weird disgusting worms in the water. Transparent, they didnt even know the worms were there and out of no where, a “pink ranger” wearing a bikini and pink stockings came and try to suprise attack me by yelling. But it was abella danger. Wtf! That shizz is so weird, i was watching game of thrones, how does abella danger get into my dreams
