My Useless Random Videos Of No Particular Consequence Channel It uses the power cord for FM I did wrap it around an aluminium yardstick I have hanging on the wall
It helped a little ...I did take the radio apart and ran the antenna wire to the outside and hooked it to a car antenna....The inside antenna is a thin piece of copper foil in the back of the radio
I use to have that CD player and I thought it looked nice and I no longer have it, the right speaker wasn’t really working. It stinks why it doesn’t have a headphone jack or an antenna.
Don't ever let it get wet...I've got the same one and it got a little rain on it and fried it. Won't play c.d.'s anymore and the radio stations are all jumbeled
I guess I have better coordination, our perhaps a steadier hand then most of you guys? Tuning is no big deal for me, and I do listen to different stations. Nice job, glad to see you decided to not cut the hadle, some day you may want to carry it somewhere because of whatever reason.
Just bought mines today it's a blackweb radio not a GPX it's perfect on the sound quality I only bought it for the CD player I don't listen to the damn radio anyway for $30 how can you not go wrong
Cheap radio not that bad these day, because it will last a year or two easily,if you keep it out of dust or moisture out of it components, only the sound and the tuning are the major problems in these electronic products.
+Tommy Whitaker Calm down !!! It is just a shop radio NOT a home entertainment system .I am sure I mentioned That in the title of the video that it's CHEAP
+Tommy Whitaker Yes I am I hate most of the new stuff made nowdays I f you search my channel you will find antique tools I have restored and I make a lot of homemade tools
Tunes are a necessity in the workshop. That dial would drive me nuts!
Craig ArndtIt is nice to have music when working I keep it on one station most of the time
For some reason I was waiting for you to weld a better antenna onto this thing.

@@not2fast4u2c did wrapping the cord around the aluminum yard stick give it better reception?

How to switch on CD?
This is also being sold at meijer’s
Looks like it has analog tuning with digital display, But it gets the job done. They are going for 25.00 on amazon right now. Descent for the price..👍
The radio still works OK but the CD player quit working after only using it 2 times ...A common complaint in the reviews on this
as long as you got tunes the work will continue
It is nice to have the radio on when working and on a local station when there are Severe Weather Warnings
Great un-boxing vid! The color scheme looks ok :) I'm sure it will do the job
creamofcardstvThanks !!!... It does sound good
99.5 doesn't even damn work on this radio, it probably does but on mine it's a bunch of static on 99.5

Dont drop this, it will shatter
Looks just like mine. your is cooler though. Mine's only black. but at least it puts out sound.

CHEVY NAPCO I like how good it sounds for a small radio I don't like the touchy tuning knob but it's still an OK radio
The Normal price for this at Walmart is 30$. The same exact one AKA the brand is GPX.

It is a cheap tuner I have had many radios over the years and my best ones are the analog tuner type ....It is a great little radio for the work shop
Keep your receipt from purchase...mine stopped playing cds the second day i had it.
The radio is still working ..I use it everyday ..I never play cd's in it ..So I don't even know if that still works
ell age my speaker stopped working on mine and the cds wouldn’t play

I used my CD player once last summer and it never worked again ..But I did by it just for the radio
Blackweb (same radio walmart branded) fried cord burnt rug and outlet first use....the room still stinks need to replace carpet and sheetrock
How could you treat that poor little radio like that?? Seems as though its nailed to the cross! lol..lol..
+Joshua Mccall At least we know it's not going anywhere !!! Thanks for watching
Best thing about mine was smashing it all over the garage floor absolute junk
I am still using mine for a shop radio ..What sucks is the CD player quit after using it 2 times
@@not2fast4u2c you probably shouldn’t have mount it on the wall. (No offense)
what not harbor freight coupon for a free one? haha

Looks good enough for a shop your size!!! haha! ;-)
BillGoudy The small size is just right for hanging it under the shelf It does sound good for a small radio
I use a cdplayer / radio with car speakers A lot better and runs only 12v
ftrikerfox I have a good power supply and speakers I may look for an older car radio from the 60's or 70's
