he has a gift of inteviewing from even back then it always amazed me how quick he was at getting the interesting and funny out of people while roasting them in a way that always came off sweet

Really insightful listening to the one of the best comedians ever and someone close to another one of the best comedians ever listen to Whitney talk about herself.

This was SO disappointing. I saw this on my home feed and got SO excited for a new interview with the GOAT only to find that the host won't let him talk about himself even a little bit. I've been a fan of Whitney's for years, I get her quirks but this was such a bad idea and was especially painful as a fan of both of them.
Imagine what it’s like for someone that doesn’t care for her & loves him. That was brutal

😡😡WOW - you were NOT exaggerating. Began with low expectations from the comments but no idea how infuriating would be to watch Love her stand up, love her comedic point of view but i HATE her for this.Literally said things acknowledging he's the goat and treats him like an open mic comic.

This smacks of her producers/handlers/maids/poolboys, etc... brainstorming in a typical adderall infused LA style "meeting" to try to be as "fresh" and "entertaining" as humanly possible in order to maximize views for ad revenue. Just goes to show her inner circle is quite capable of implementing seriously bad decisions and being totally oblivious about it. Also, just think, if this had been Segura's show, do you think he would have invited or greenlit Dangerfield's widow to interrupt his interview with Attell? Just so much overpaid unprofessionalism, sometimes, you can't have "friends" running your business.

Dave obviously enjoyed talking to her and i very much enjoyed hearing the three of y’all talking. You two are very passionate about what you do and talking with someone so close to a legend in your field brought out a more humble conversation between you both. Well done

To be fair, costumers are notoriously difficult to satisfy.
People definitely retell comedians jokes still. Me and my friends still quote a lot of Dave’s jokes. “Hot dog eating contest, I’m listening?” “I guess what I’m trying to say is, I miss my dad”… 😂
Anticipating watching this is like gearing up to stick my hand in a pot of boiling water to grab a piece of gold. I Love Attell, can't stand Whitney. I already know she's going to be talking over him non-stop. I'll come back when I'm feeling braver.

Seeing Dave geek out about Rodney is super interesting, but as a younger person Dave is the greatest comic to ever live. I know he hates talking about himself but what I wanted to hear was about him. This better have a part 2 because 1 hour with him is insulting.

I wonder if she ever actually watches the podcasts she makes. I think that's a smart move on Attell's part. This "non" interview might even be by design. He gets his face out there without telling every story/joke on UA-cam. I'm sure he knows how her podcasts go. The only Great comic that gets away with a lot of podcasts is Bill Burr, who just literally talks about nothing, just sports and current events.
