How does the concept of 49 gates where everyone has their letter on one of these gates correlate with the concept of 600,000 letters in the Torah being the source of the 600,000 neshamos at Matan Torah which are the source of every Yid. Is there a connection? Or is that the purpose of Teshuva (which was introduced after Matan Torah, by the chet ha’egel for the Rabim and by David Hamelech for the yachid) being above nature by Hashem in his kindness making the mission of return and finding oneself easier by only having 49 letters to search through instead of 600,000?
Good question. Well above my pay grade (I’m not paid so anything I guess is above it!) but teshuva, as R Yaakov said, came before the world was created. Torah did too. I guess you would need a mekubal to answer this one!
