Rapier nerfed because when pa buys rapier it will amplify attack damage and magic damage at the same time which is so damn op for pa if she bought a revenant
also for sniper I think.
Also for mars which ammar abused
@@Sc0pee its all of them. Especially since they buffed the brooch to not spend mana when you ask through spell. Heros like puck or jug can ultimately and ask so many times without losing mana is pretty op, especially for jug, he can even swift slash. People know brooch and omnislash is op but they dont buy them because it depletes his entire mana pool.
Also hero like tusk, or mars buying brooch with that grit is also pretty op. But mostly I'm glad with he change because khanda rapier has ruined so many games, whether you are the enemy or ally. I'm talking about the average 2k mmr, people are getting so comfortable buying rapier even without Kaunda because it's so popular, and it's been ruining so many games.
Im sick and tired of that shit combination, so glad they removed the interaction altogether 😂

I think the change to rapier is because it double dipped with brooch and khanda, and too many pubs were throwing trying to go for those combos

Khanda will still be legit on morphing and bounty hunter or luna. These things will just work how they are suppose to

You are absolutely clueless with revenant brooch, It was beyond broken late game. It literally gave you 2-3x damage for like 5000 gold. It gave you the dmg of buying 2 rapiers late game, whilst costing 5k gold and taking up 1 slot. Pa would 1 shot my 6 slotted sven, and i wouldn't even see her. The change was needed, but i think this kills the item.
Revenant's Brooch is OP because in late game carry heroes has around 32-45 armor and no magic resistance item. As a result, they have 32% Magic Resistance and 70% physical resistance in late game which means 69x damage instead of 30x damage, +118% damage. It isn't as good as 2 rapier but approx same as 1 rapier. Also it is OP against Axe and Primal Beast. I can't kill these heroes without Revenant's Brooch. With Brooch, they don't see how they died. Solution should be big 5.2k gold carry magic resistance item giving around 50% magic resistance+ some attack damage/speed.
@@Asterix958 problem is, this "item", would indirectly nerf alot of magic heros. Not easy to get a easy balance.
@@zahikkhan4405 It is also good in my opinion considering how strong these magic damage heroes like Storm Spirit, Leshrac, Muerta, Hoodwink. Solution for this item can be Pharasma. Support heroes are already a bit strong.
Funny enough Brooch would be amazing on sven as he has crazy high damage that he doesn't have to buy crit hitting into enemy low magic resi is enough.
1:45 Rapier isn't "way worse" except that it doesn't double dip with revenant's brooch and khanda anymore. TBH i don't even know why rapier has spell amp to begin with.

Also the with the Orchid nerf they need to fix the interaction it has against S&Y. The end damage doesn't go through since the status resistance makes the duration shorter.

I’m kinda cool with the change made to Renenant’s Brooch. The ability to one shot anything is just too strong on PA.
Keep it off for squishy supports who usually have more MR than armor due to them being mostly intelligent heroes and most support items raise intelligence too.
Then turn it on to hit tanks and other carries extremely hard because the traditional method of stacking armor against PA could no longer work.
The ability to choose the type of damage based on target’s defensive stats is more broken than it actually seems.
at low mmr, PA was so painfull with rapier/brooch, so many unfair comeback just because of this. TY VALVE
Tinker is the most frustrating hero of you get a semi Smurf in your game. Just seems to hex reload hex and you basically can’t do anything for an indefinite period
PA random 3 crit dagger with broch killing 4k HP tank is dead. No more bullshit
I had a Phantom Assassin who almost bought a Brooch earlier. Thank God, he listened to reason and didn't go through with it. It's a shame that some players don't read the patch notes as soon as they drop.

Yes in most games when you buy helm dom you wanna keep the same keep. But anyone who spams those heros knows the feel when they die and you run around with a creep you don't want until you find the one you do. This makes that down time more profitable +initial buy

Finally they fixed the PA problem.
She has a 1400g shard to deal with heroes like DK or Timber.
And if you buy armor because she might go Deso and fuck you up. Then fuck you because she can deal magic crit damages now.

Agree that brooch rapier was bullshit, but they should have buffed her to compensate. She was only playable because of that build and now she's going to suck donkey balls.

the rapier nerf is a targeted nerf to the khanda rapier, which benefitted from both the spell amp and the +350damage

Revnant pa winrate around archon was pretty high in my games. Not saying much though because I'm not really a great player lmao.
Rapier provides 100 dmg + 250 dmg/25% spell amp. essentially the same damage but you'd have to choose spell amp or damage that's all.
i play support so ill still take light collector if im against tree heroes

I think it's was a nerf to those that are getting changed in the next number patch. Should see it in April I'm guessing.
Valve patches always seems like lacking. Little impact that will only feels impacting in competitive or in 10 patches ahead when things add up.
How do you not understand why rapier + brooch were nerfed? Valve doesn't want PA throwing 6k magic crit daggers from blur. Pretty simple.

Yeah its stacks, if you have six rapiers, you can have 150 percent spell application

Revs Brooch not being able to crit, was most likely for pa and.... mars, mars god's rebuke with brooch and div gg.
I checked the games being played on pro scene right after the patch and guess wat 3 top games on the list had silencer 2 as a carry both got rampage one with only a pike and witch blade leaving no points on E till max QW and one as a pos4 going pike Gleipnir and the shard which swaps 60 int on 10 attks makin the guy silent each 4 attks well this sounds just gud u destroy offlaners relying on mana keep casing spells I guess mage slayer is also gud since u keep attkin people specially if u are targetin the offlaner like Axe.
Clearly rapier and brooch nerfs are addressing the mars rapier + brooch cheese speeed....how did you miss that?!

Literally every Mars I played with (immortal) was doing the double rapier brooch build. The only heroes that could survive were eternal shroud buyers.

6:08 Royal jelly is buffed, not nerfed. They reduced the duration by 20% and increased the regen by 25%. This means more total recovery and that recovery happens faster as well. Massive buff to jelly.
Rapier is nerfed because everyone buys it on turbo and unranked. Its not broken or a huge issues on ranked and players who knows how to deal with it but its a menace to newbies and casual players.
What? Everyone in high mmr and pro scene was spamming rapier + brooch. You miss the memes of TB getting oneshotted by weaver in the recent tournament?

It just seems like a patch to calm the community outrage going crazy over the patch. It also just seems like it's trying to address power-creep a little bit by just toning most heroes down with sleight buffs.

I think they lowered the gold bounty on the two neutral creeps because they're the most dominated/charmed - in relation to the dominator item patch.
i fucking hate how valve only bases changes on pro scene, they continue to nerf heroes that are sub 50% winrate across the board and manage to buff heroes that are over 50% winrate. It honestly doesn't make sense to me
On anything below the pro scene there's no money involved (Not a lot). Pro's literally abuse hero's and strategys for money. So it only makes sense change the broken stuff that gets abused
that revenant its kinda useless tbh id rather use nullifier over that item anyday.
I think with changes to pango swash, he can go for desolator now, it increase damage of his Q and W it applies low armor to all with aghanim. I tested it and it deals same or more dmg as diffusal.
desolator is so bad with pango, more expensive, doesnt give stats or att speed and also the slow from diffusal is too good for chasing or running from other heroes
@@MaginaLetter It was bad but they changed pango second spell to do physical and increase swash dmg, it makes more sense now, maybe not as first item but later on. Also pango have huge base and he can right click pretty hard
@@SammyLamethe issue about adding a new item to pango itemization is related to his scalability into late game, you need difu in order to control midgame, aghs cuz its one of the best early aghs in the game, later on you need shard and blink to destroy the teamfights at lv 15, then you need octarine vyse abyssal disperser refresh to scalate into late game. at least in high mmr rankeds its difficult to find a way to place that desolator in the build

I think the brooch not being able to criticise is such a good nerf, not just pa, or any other grit heroes like tusk or mars, that can really 1 shot you if they gained some advantage early on. But also because the item was buffed not too long ago, with the no mana used, when atk with spell. Spells like omnislash and puck's aghanim, is very op when you can do so much damage in those as magic, without using any mana. Especially juggernaut, since ehe can also use swift slash.

I disagree with your statement void time dilation need max, it need max if you against skill spammer hero like undying and bb
First thing dilation don't increase your farm speed, mostly void is the hero that you farm and farm, you rarely clash unless chrono is up, after chrono is on cd you back to farm again
Second time dilation is just no gonna help you survive but being annoying skill, the time mostly you cast time dilation is when engage and disengage, you don't rarely cast it in middle of fight when you bashing up enemy in close range, you rather bashing enemy instead of waste time frame in that skill, unless enemy start running then different story
Overall time dilation is no good and so specific, your statement only valid if you against skill spammer hero and even still the damage is no so great

Literally the first 6 minutes of changes you went over were all items that Dotown was using to make videos. Pretty sure the devs mainly look at what content creators are doing and nerf those items. That's how GGG does operates and honestly, most games these days.

no, valve intentionally thought to prevent this, by putting only one hero you are banning [ one hero, N/A, N/A, N/A ] thus it does no benefit. this is also stated in the patch note if u need proof and stuff.
to put the exact words on the match making patchnotes ' If you leave some ban slots empty, it's possible the empty slot will be selected as your "banned hero". In other words, there's no advantage to leaving slots empty.'

Im pretty sure the Terrorblade nerf is due to low ranks where they start to build the TB as another carry despite being it sup 5. They correlate the number of griefers and abandons with terrorblade being supp and nerf it. Just because it works om high mmr doesnt mean that everyone will have the brain to do the same

She is either broken stalling the game to 70 min with random triple one shot crit or totally useless. just watch Dreamleague, games with PA ended up 40 min longer because of that shit. She is the definition of noobs friendly also with random herald player winning undeserved games on her just because of the kit. I said that and i got a 87% win rate on PA at 5k

Rapier change is cringe and Rev brooch is EXTREMELY DUMB change , nerf it for what , it was fine other than Pa , idk why Valve reacts to crybabies complaining about Late game Rev brooch.
Both changes were obvious, literally anybody with a functioning brain could have told you that combo would be gutted next patch.

How does manta with an extra 4seconds do any harm? Every time I watch a pro player pick up manta they are not using it right off of cd. I feel like it won't even be noticeable.
