Mixed reactions ahead of Limuru III meeting

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has termed the planned Limuru 3 meeting an idle gathering without a solid agenda for the Mount Kenya region. Waiguru told Kirinyaga residents to keep off the Friday meeting in Limuru terming it divisive and aimed at isolating the region from other communities. Organisers of the meeting have however maintained that it will go on as planned and will be held at the Jumuia Conference Centre in Limuru.
