Beautiful version of this dance. Love interpretation by the male dancer - the rose looks cheerful throughout with such elegant expressive arms. Love this.
Beautiful version, when I saw it I knew that Manuel Legris was behind it, it looks exactly like his version when he danced it at Opéra de Paris, I can see his influence as maitre de ballet at Scala de Milano here. Claudio Coviello nailed it, it is a very tricky role, the dancer has to mix his male and female sensibilities together. Some dancers cannot dance it, like Baryshnikov, it was not a role for him and he didn't succeed (to my humble opinion).
