I am but a simple mark. I see angry Victory Road Sting, I click.
On a scale from upset to angry victory road Sting, how disappointed are you
I'll always remember the look on Sting's face...like that of a disappointed father.
And Sting was one of Jeff’s heroes growing up. Makes it even worse.
Considering that he’s TNA’s locker room leader, justifiable.
Sting was Hardy's mentor so this was hard for him.
This video really doesn’t work without the footage.
WWE wasted Gail Kim.
Twice
They wasted about every female wrestler from the 90s up to 2015 and the models who stepped into the ring were just terrible. That's why it's still a rare thing when women have a main event or at least a one on one match at a PPV.
They wasted the whole women’s division. I didn’t like Gail Kim but she was much better than Kelly Kelly, for example.
They gave her the Women's Championship in her the debut match but yeah, a month after that they didn't know what to do with her.
Dead Phoenix Well not AJ Lee
Simon gotta stop slapping his head, he's gonna give himself a concussion!
Or Simon Bryan
+Grungy Perry Simon is a meat head so go figure. He slaps his brain cells.
Pillo The Starplestian oh my gosh hahaha why did I laugh so hard
Shawn Michaels overselling Hogan was one of the most hilarious things ever!
I feel like you could do this list with Randy Orton exclusively.
Should re-name the channel "SimonCulture"
What ? We all kn0o the "what ?" Chants will never end, So they might as well keep the channel name too lol...
Ryan Sea-Crest. and A Cupie Doll I have Within My Paper-Work[Kelly-Ripa or Susan]The Jobbers Is a nice Supplemental.
Don't forget the infamous "Dog Kennel" match with Al Snow and Big Boss Man. Al has gone on record saying both him and Big Boss Man thought it was a major embarrassment they were saddled with. The attack dogs weren't trained, spent the majority of the match running around outside the ring barking, pissing, shitting and humping each other. Both men couldn't get ANYTHING out of the animals so they had no choice but to work AROUND the gimmick.
Eyes11 Sweet Jesus, I completely forgot about that. If it makes even Al Snow feel embarrassed, you know it's bad.
Is Simon the only one working for WhatCulture? Lol
fullmetalGzee hes the only half decent one right now
fullmetalGzee no there's also ben and jules
kyriakosVegeta i say it because he seems to be the only one making videos 😂
No only the best
Simon is getting that paper
How would the Gail Kim thing be a work? She randomly rolled out of the ring unnoticed, left the match, and requested her release and was granted it like a week later.
Apparently the only direction she was given for the match was to get eliminated quickly (within 30 seconds, I think). She just decided to "go the extra mile" and eliminate herself for added ridiculousness, because she was (justifiably) upset with how they were using her. So, in a technical sense it was a work...she got eliminated very fast, just as ordered...
IT'S TIME! IT'S TIME! IT'S VADER TIME! where's Vader vs Shawn Michael's SummerSlam? I SAID MOVE!!!!
Braun Strowman is the type of guy who trying to study for a drug test
Tape?
tape?
That doesn't make any sense at all
You high?
Bray Wyatt smokes weed.
Ziggler when he had to carry everyone through the IC Title elimination chamber match
yup
I wouldn't say Ziggler was obviously _unhappy_ with the match (although I doubt he thinks much of it), just that he was absolutely killing himself trying to keep the damn thing in some semblance of order after it went off the rails.
Someone had to take charge
Ziggler and Sheamus carried it
I can just see Sasha Banks hates the matches where she is booked to lose...
Hey Simon, go join the guys at cultaholic. Seriously you're the last guy keeping me here at WC and without you they'd be done.
Anton Ford SIMON SUCKS
Should change the name to whoculture
What about Adam?
Anton Ford no he should make his own channel called WhyCulture. Why? *Slaps head* here's why!?
I love your videos but i just watched you showed atleast a 10 second clip of what exactly you mean. like how the first girl slid out the ring. Couldnt really see it
What about Shawn and Vader at Summerslam 96.
I was waiting for that too
Simon is the only guy keeping me subscribed to whatculture.
After the One Night Stand match Eddie said to Benoit "I owe you a good one". Sadly that good one never happened as Eddie died later that year
The Dominick storyline was Eddie's idea, so it wasn't that he was pissed about being in it it's because Vicky missed her Que.
Nick Bleker He was also trying to make himself look like a heel. He had that angry look on his face for that entire time.
Yeah lol he was pissed because Vickie missed her que and he fell off the ladder wrong almost injuring himself because of it. I'll never forget him pounding the mat and screaming "Where the fuck was Vickie?!?!" so loud that the mics picked it up and you could hear it clearly watching the PPV on tv lol.
"Custody of Dominick ladder match" LMFAO.
Watch mojo for pro wrestling
TG99 false. Lists were made way before watchmojo was even a thing
Pretty sure that's hate speech
kyriakosVegeta it’s not about who does it first
TG99

It's getting there
Something you forgot to mention about Number 1 on your list: When the fans chanted "Bullshit," indicating how disappointed they were that this match should have been 100 TIMES BETTER than it actually was, Sting replied to them "I know," meaning he wholeheartedly agreed with their opinions.
There was a title match between Mickie James and Gail Kim where Gail smacked her head hard when she missed a top rope cross body, and she was basically out on her feet and it led to a botched Mickie DDT, then a botched Mick Kick, and finally Mickie just forearmed Gail down and pinned her. Mickie looked PISSED after.
Also the infamous Jackie Gayda match - after the (merciful) end, Trish Stratus can be seen on camera saying something to the effect of "Give me something to f*cking work with."
Every Randy Orton match
KILLAGORILLA7000 nah, i think he cared a great deal during his match at Summerslam 2017
This video is crap without video, its all just still pictures from a wwe video, if you're going to use their copyrighted image, you might as well stick another 29 in a second and use video
It's really expensive for a channel like this to use copyrighted video, even then they could still get copystriked anyway
Man, the talents of Gail Kim, Austin Aries, Shawn Michaels twice, Eddie Guerrero, and CM Punk were all unhappy due to booking reasons and every single one takes place in WWE. I guess some things don't change for Vinny Mac.
Teacher: ok lemme collect your papers
*walks over to Braun Strowman*
Braun: IM NOT FINISHED YET!!!!'
i think Simon should be the new face of what culture one of the few good people left to come and see.
actually the thing about the Benoit VS Eddie match at ECW One Night Stand being a disappointment to them both is because allegedly Eddie was experiencing problems with his cardio at the time which meant he got tired suddenly and too quickly, which meant that he could no longer wrestle at the pace they were both used to
Eddie Guerrero's performance at ONS is one of the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen in wrestling. He ruined the whole match by gassing out, messing spots, not selling Benoit's offense and not giving a shit about the finish. Yet people treat Eddie like he was some God of wrestling.
I love that simon says Jeff was 'apparently intoxicated' for that match... have you seen that match!?
My dad Simon keeping this channel alive
I came here to see a list heavy in Shawn Michaels in 96-98, was very surprised to only see he was 20% of it lol. His tantrums against Vader and Mankind for mistiming their spots were great
Well Eddie played heel in the wwe during the ECW ONS. And he was great at it. He kept the persona for that match.
Since the others left Simon is now king of whatculture
Batista vs Randy Orton ( Along with legacy).
Holy shit what ever happend before the match with batista had to be something. I mean he was so freacking calm you thought he whould kill Randy.
Eddie wasn't mad at the storyline, he was mad at Vickie for missing her que to take Eddie down the ladder and Rey had to improvise causing Eddie to land funny. I will admit the storyline was weird but the summerslam match was great
They need to update this list & add Goldberg v. Undertaker
Randy Orton is spoiled and has major anger issues.
I hate Orton and have watched the video of Brock busting him up multiple times to derive sadistic pleasure 😂
I like randy
monokhem now everyone hates Orton lol, yet he wins the championship and everyone loves stfu
monokhem who me?
monokhem Who cares about being literate on the internet, besides snowflakes like you
It’s funny that in the video advertising WCPW’s transition to Defiant, all the championship belts still read WCPW
Shawn overselling Hogan was gold!
Should of added the most angry moment I've ever seen from a wrestler was with Shawn Michaels vs Vader. Vader was suppose to move out of the way from shawns elbow drop and Vader forgot to move. So Shawn jumps down and gives Vader a few stomps to his head while yelling at him. Look it up!
That indie match a couple of years ago with Jim Duggan and Matt Borne would of made it too, not a well known match but list worthy..
Goldust vs Fandango, Raw 17 March 2014.
Fandango botches everything, busts Goldie open, Goldie visibly frustrated kicks the ropes after the match.
How could you leave off Rico at Survivor Series 02? Jeff being high or drunk or something and missing a mark was Rico's most memorable career moment.
Shawn Michaels vs. Vader at Summerslam 1996
Trish Stratus and Bradshaw vs. Jackie Gayda and Christopher Nowinski
What a fooking plug in at the end!!! LOL...I AM I AM I AMMMMM DEFIAANNTTTT
Is Simon the only one from the original WHATCULTURE that still works for them?
100% convinced Michaels vs Hogan at Summerslam is #1
I can understand Gail Kim hating her matches in WWE. She was a true wrestler in a division full of women who couldn't wrestle, both before and after her stints in TNA. Sting being pissed about his match with Jeff Hardy is also understandable. Jeff Hardy was high as a kite when he came out for that match.
Always felt sting hated his mania match. I was hoping he would win and as soon as he walked out I knew he was losing. He had a look on his face like they changed the finish last min. I've seen him walk to the ring a million times and his face said a lot that night.
Eddie was pissed because he wasn't in good condition and knew he wasn't going to be able to hang with Benoit, Benoit was pissed because Eddie wasn't in good condition and couldn't hang with him. Hence both being so annoyed at their match.
Lord_Edge That probably does explain it since Eddie was beginning to slowly die. It was still a good match but yeah, it could've been better. We will probably never know the real reason considering they aren't with us anymore.
If you're gonna do a bit where Shawn Michaels appears multiple times on the list you should've included the Dx vs Jeri-show tlc match where he starts cursing because the ladders are too short.
Simon is killing whatculter
Shawn vs the Hulkster is one of my fav matches
Good list, but I kind of thought the match from a couple of years ago when Cena was making the U.S. Title worth something by taking on all contenders, the night he had to drop it he came to the ring looking visibly pissed off, skipped his expected speech and just simply did the 'want some, come get some' line, showed dull surprise at who came out to challenge him, and lay down to drop the belt. Sadly, I can't even remember who he dropped it TO.
You could add goldberg vs undertacker now
Just to back up CM Punk on the list, he was working injured if you remember. Vince supposedly was pushing him to come back after wrestlemania and work through injury. In conclusion, he was mad because he was working hurt.
This should be called top 10 wrestlers who got pissed during a match
I feel like I've heard all of these top 10 incidents in different videos from whatculture
Me 2 years later: Oh, you forgot Undertaker vs Goldberg in super showdown
Dunno whether this will make sense to a lot of people, but for some reason Shawn Michaels really reminds me of Terence Hill in that match against Hulk Hogan.
Sting vs Hardy was a case of a great wrestler, a great billing and build up, then Hardy turned up stoned or drunk or basically unfit to wrestle. It pissed Sting off because he’s a professional, so he got it over and done with. You can see him making sure Hardy has no chance to kick out and saying something to the ref. Probably insisting on the 3 count.
Thankfully, Hardy had got clean since then but he screwed what should’ve been a good match.
The dominic story was eddie's idea;he was only angry about vikkie missing her spot
HBK vs Vader, Summerslam '96... Can't forget that.
Eddie's actually the one who pitched the idea about doing the story with Rey and Dominic, according to Rey. I'm pretty sure you just fell for his perfect performance.
On that PPV where Sting wrestled Jeff Hardy, watch what happens after the match before the broadcast fades to black. Sting is high-fiving fans and one of them is heard to say to him, "That match sucked!" To which Sting replies: "Yeah, I know!"
Lol two from summerslam 2005. The secret third guy letting frustration out in that event was me in the stands after security stole my anti-Cena sign
You're not gonna mention Sting explicitly saying "I agree" to a crowd chanting "This is bullsh--"?
Michaels vs Vader should be on the list.
Except Austin Aries has said on Jericho’s podcast he was happy in wwe, on 205 live and he didn’t want to leave.
Goldberg, when Regal schooled him on Nitro.
When you realize Austin Aries (39) is older than Randy Orton (37)
AJ Styles (40)
John Cena (40)
Finn Balor (37)
I don't know; that Michaels/Hogan match was, if nothing else, pretty frickin' entertaining.😬
you know why you will never see Taker on anything like this.. Because he is the Legend that Legends look up to.
What about that match with Perry Saturn where he went ballistic at some guy after he dropped Perry on his head a couple of times?
Hardy wasn't "apparently intoxicated"... he was obviously tripping balls.
2:13-2:51.; I didn't think that this match would make the list.
6:17 Wait a sec, is that Bad News Barrett?
SuperTiberian yep
No it's stu Bennett gm for *stifles laugh* defiant wrestling
Wha? I didn't quite catch what they were saying at the end? The fire ant? They need to slow down and repeat it more so I can understand.
Apex Superstorm nope George Clooney
Apex Superstorm o
2:06, bloody hell Austin Aries looks like; 'Quint' from Jaws telling that story about the U.S.S. Indianapolis. Outside the ring there. His face there is worth a thousand pictures as they say!
I’m surprised they didn’t have Hulk Hogan being mad about the match with Jeff Jarrett
I agree Gail Kim (On her second run) and Austin aries were under used. Gail Kim seemed like she was always booked to always lose because they were boosting other divas. Austin seemed like he wasted his time. Sure he was facing Neville here and there but wasn't put against other stars like Dean Ambrose or Miz or people of that nature. On !MPACT I saw him face guys of that weight and beat them and win the title but they were keeping him on the 205 side of things which under used him.
I know there's already 2 Shawn Michaels incidents on this list but HBK vs Vader from Summerslam 96 should be on this list.
Pretty sure at WM23 Shawn was just pissed about a dude jumping the barricade at the biggest show of the year.
Please have Stu do one of these, he would be perfect for a list
If Simon leaves, WhatCulture goes down in flames. Well it’s already in flames so it’ll just be adding lighter fluid
Yyyyeah, had a feeling that was gonna be #1.
The phrase you're looking for is "smacked out of his bin".
I was told Randy was pissed at Kofi for not selling the rko correctly and landing on his neck
Some of these could've used better explanations. Or explanations at all. "Jeff Hardy showed up drunk and Sting was mad." Well, that paints a picture. That match was a beautiful train wreck, from Jeff acting like he's gonna throw his shirt into the crowd to Sting having to actually pin him for real to end the misery. Talk about it!
thank you Simon! "5 claps" thank you Simon "5 claps"
What about Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan WCW?
10 times WhatCulture employees visibly hated their jobs
Thumbs up for Simon!
Just a quick question; are any of the guys at the end of the video defiant by any chance? I just get a vibe from them but it could have just been something they said 200 times
Nice video!
B
The subject matter is nice... but the production quality is significantly worse.
It's actually a rather amateurish ad shoddy video honestly.
BRRRRROCK HAUNTERRR
Orton when he faced Sheamus with one of the worst crowds in WWE history.
