Ok this is going to be a long post as Trento had, a interesting but short history.
Trento was laid down in Livorno on 8th February 1925, her and her sister Trieste were the first heavy cruisers the Italian Navy built.
Her launch in 1927 was delayed due to anti fascist sabotage, when she was finally launched on 4th October 1927 by being dragged out of her slipway.
She was formerly commissioned on 3rd April 1929 and made flagship of the cruiser division on 11th May 1929.
She and her sister would undertake a few world tours and Trento would be the host to both Hitler and Mussolini during the 30s.
At the outbreak of World War 2, Trento would be made flagship of the 3rd Division, taking part in her first battle on 9th July 1940 in the battle of Calabria.
Later on 12th October 1940, Trento would be in the battle of Cape Passero, where she would come under attack from British aircraft.
After the battle, she would be laid over in Taranto, Trento would be hit by a bomb during the raid on Taranto on 11th November 1940, the bomb would not explode.
Being one of the few ships to survive Taranto, on 26th November 1940, Trento would damage the cruiser HMS Berwick during the battle of Cape Spartivento.
In 1942, the 3rd Division came under the command of Admiral Luigi Sansonetti, on 27th March 1941 Trento and her Division would take part in the battle of Cape Matapan, during the battle the Battleship Veneto would be damaged by torpedo planes from HMS Formidable, Trento would be tasked with escorting the damaged Battleship back to Taranto.
Her final battle of the war was on 14th June 1942, she was part of the Italian task force tasked with intercepting a British Convoy during operation Harpoon.
She would be attacked by a Beaufort Torpedo bomber, the torpedo would damage her forward boiler room, which would cause her to stop.
Despite a smoke screen laid down by her escorting destroyers, submarine HMS Umbra would deliver the killing blow, she would sink rapidly taking her captain and 549 crew of 1100 down with her.
Her sister Trieste would be sunk a year later on 10th April 1943 by American Air attack.

Sometimes the Trento just cleans up I've got a Kraken and a Solo Warrior and sometimes you get surprised by a salvo over an island that sends you back to port, but it's an enjoyable ship overall that can have a solid impact on the battle providing its not used for cannon fodder
Best ship ever, love it. I think I'm the only one who likes playing it but it is honestly a lot of fun with the right build, I like to know how many ships are aiming at me in it to deploy smoke at the right times
It's a solid ship just gotta watch over angling
I really enjoy watching you play cruisiers. Those games look more challanging since you can't really nuke someone with one salvo/torpedoes
Yeah Cruiser gameplay is both Ez and challenging because it isn't really hard but a single mistake gets you smashed

I always enjoy the path to series.
Spartan, could you use your voice to advocate for a free camera that can zoom in and out once you die? That would make watching the remaining battle so cool to zoom in and look at the ships detail.
(After all they put so much effort in design!)
I have started the long hard grind on this line of ships. I still need 1.5millions moneys to get my tier 4 Italian cruiser
But I still love my German ships(battleships)
I just saved up enough for the New Orleans. 9,000,000 moneys
I hate this grind so much.
Still working to Amalfi. Love the speed and smoke. You just have to remember to throw the torps out. Caught a Trento making a u turn, didn't work out for them. Was in the Trento shooting at another Trento. GG

I’m finding it hilarious that cruisers can have the same or greater firing range than battleships. I guess that’s why they can just sit in one corner of the map and spam HE all day long. 😂
Your Commander and Inspirations may buff the range slightly but it’s still somewhat ridiculous.

Hey so can you tell me some advice for when i first enter a match in the iowa
Always check what ships you're up against and then make a gameplan based on your spawn.
Get yourself to your side based on spawn then get nose in. It's insanely strong if you are poi ted at the enemy but if they catch your side you're toast early.
If you're still making your way to your chosen spot DO NOT SHOOT.
Stay hidden and hold fire until you can get in a good spot because getting caught in the open broadside is death

Can someone tell me how do I turn on AA guns on ps4? Probably a stupid question but idk how to do it
AA is on by default but if you open the chat wheel you'll see the button to enable or disable aa and secondaries

Depends on situation
Trento imho is gold one among others, fast and turns good
Cruisers with SAP is a whole different game though. Its annoying when your in the moment and stray to close, everything over penetrates or ricohets.

Italian CL reload is awful, I’m on the Zara. I need to play the more of my T6 do I can get the T7 on a couple of lines.
Then I need $$$ 😂 got the Iwami and haven’t bought anything for it. Not sure I’ll play it. Seen to many get recked in games.
At tier 5 they actually switch from light cruisers to heavy cruisers

Very dependent on your playstyle and what you enjoy about a ship
Can you explain why sans is better than mimbelli?
Just depends on the build your going for.
Mimbelli focuses more on concealment and agility and Sans focuses on punch power with the guns

I hate this ship . Can't get myself to grind it.
I could see that about the Algerie. Thing is a miserable time. But the Trento is really really good.
I actually really like the italian cruisers, flank by using your speed and concealment, and if you're ever in a pinch use your get out of jail free card (rolling smoke)

I'll never understand why some bb captains shoot HE the ENTIRE MATCH. If Iron Duke thru conqkek, ok; but anything else where they shoot HE and never fire AP, then they don't scare me. If they're trying to complete a challenge, then ok, fine
