it would just be a really cool twist and easier to make people like it more, brought some previous fans back after the disaster that was everything after most wanted. but you're right EA would never do something to please their customers
And in your defense I totally agree. The only things I liked about the game were the levels (DAT AVALANCHE RACE! AND DAT FINAL LEVEL!!!) and the soundtrack. Instead of Cannonball Run, they should have used Mad Max for inspiration.
well in whoever's defense, it kinda sorta more or less was a pile of crap. the story was insultingly shallow, voice casting was mediocre, character development was terrible, and it was too short. the cars and environments were good though, as was the entire premise. the idea was good on paper but wasn't carried out correctly. for instance, instead of jack, the main character could have been Clarence Callahan, that would have added considerable depth to the story.
nooo, it was pretty bad, the visuals were ok, but there wasn't enough, it was too short. and the npcs were superhuman at times, you could push them into an oncoming rig and they would just come right back without missing a beat. it wasn't that good
the avalanche level was sick. loved it. also like the wide open highway races.
