The bro has what it takes to be musically creative even influential, the much needed skills to play as well as sing ( in rhythm & in tune ). I like his voice tone too, it sounds sincere and caring. He' obviously singing about things close to his heart and that have meaning to his life. If this is his own waiata then he's done well to use his God given 'GIFT to deconstruct then rewrite about eg. painful past situations, or a meaningful person, past life events to express his own interpretation of the subject, in the song. Some people don't have any understanding of what work it takes to write songs RAW but KOoL.
