Vox machina and even the anime series dungeon Meshi (delicious in dungeon) or if want a darker tone wait till blade & bastard anime releases. B&b is part of the wizardry series which is a well known dungeon crawl series based on DnD. Note this is specifically Japanese wizardry, not American considering the last American one was in early 2000s and I believe creator sold off rights to a Japanese company and they license it off. Some of the titles came to America with more on the way, then the blade and bastard anime is from the light novel/manga by creators of goblin slayer and overlord. To also add the B&b anime announcement is big to wizardry fans since the last known wizardry anime was from the 90s.
I would advocate to have this short turned into a feature film. The animation is absolutely stunning, love the world building and I’m already connected to the characters. Phenomenal job!
I really hope that Amazon used the episodes in this show to gauge the audience's reaction to certain IPs, because i too would really love to see more of this. Specifically this episode and the Mega Man one.
@@shadowcat1606 mega man one was kind of dissapointing tbh considering how people have told its one of the best of this series and the reality is its so short and just simply clunky. Not enough time to care for any character in the ep
@@kptmaci4979 My nostalgia plays into it a lot, i guess. But i agree with you, the short runtime was an issue. I mean, it stops when he actually becomes Mega Man. Which is why i said it's one of those that i want to see more of.
LOVE that you guys are doing this. From the same team that brought us Love Death Robots, it's the same concept. While the first series each short dealt with one of those themes, this one is just 'each one is set in a certain game universe'. There are some BIG names (no spoilers) not to mention the CGI and camera work in each show will impress you. Looking forward to your reactions!
I’m really glad Hector managed to squeeze this into the schedule. I’ve been very curious about this and after the first story I’m pretty well sold. I’ve been running dnd games for more than 20yrs and this was an awesome representation of the game I love so much.
I would absolutely love to listen or watch yall play DnD. Even if it's just a oneshot. That was Tiamat, a goddess, the five heads represents each of the different chromatic dragons (red, blue, white, green, and black).
Oh snap you guys are doing secret level?? Excited to see your reactions to the Warhammer 40k episode, I love that franchise and the episode does it justice
SO glad you guys are giving this one a try. Some of these eps have a very Heavy Metal vibe (the anthology movie from the 80s not the genre) and I think you're gonna have a lot of fun with it. Also, fun side note: this story is from an actual D&D module. My bestie saw this ep and was like "hey! I've run this module recently!".
Totally forgot this series was out 'til I saw this review pop up on my YT Feed: Gracias Hermanos!!!!! I'm with Agustin & Hector: This 12min D&D Short was better than almost all of what SW has put out since Force Awakens...Acolyte & Book of Boba specifically!!!
So glad you guys are reacting to this show. When I watch the series I knew almost nothing about the games. I can’t wait to see your reaction on the Pac-Man episode.
love that you are watching these - you could definetely fit more into one ep, some are really short and unfortunately - not that impressive. Would love next season of love death and robots if it ever comes out from you guys. Also waiting for creature commandos (patiently - take your time
This series was really hit and miss for me - mainly miss. Blur Studios need to smear a thick film of edgy, morose, dystopia on everything they touch is exhausting. They need to move on from it. This D&D short was a success, thankfully.
12:16 "we have to start a new podcast and start our own DnD campaign guys"
Please!!! 🙏
yoooooo, that would sooo dope!
YESS
Co-sign, I’m here for it
100% would watch
This episode should absolutely be its own movie!!!
I will use this opportunity to ask yet again for a reaction series to the Legend of Vox Machina. Please and thank you

Yes pls

We need more chill dwarves like Luzum.
This is also from the creators of Love, Death and Robots which is another anthology series. The CGI in these shows are NEXT LEVEL INCREDIBLE.
I loved how he was the missing piece to their team.
Also, Adam being literally mouth agape for a solid minute as Tiamut emerged was worth the price of admission for this react :D
PAC man episode will change you 😂
LOVE that you guys are doing this.

So glad you guys are reacting to this fantastic series! Hyped

Tiamat is indeed THE Dragon of Dragons. 😈
Oh snap you guys are doing secret level?? Excited to see your reactions to the Warhammer 40k episode, I love that franchise and the episode does it justice
For The Emperor
This was one of the best episodes of secret level, to me. I loved it so much
This one really set the tone for a great anthology series!!

YES! So happy they’re watching this amazing show!
Been waiting for someone to react to this! Thanks guys!
I loved the creativity of this whole series
loved Agustins insight, would've loved to play WOW with him back in the day
Yoooo, I'd be so down for a Heroes Reforged dnd podcast. Hell yea, GRITOS all the way.
II hope you guys make it to episode 5, that episode is so insanely good.
Amen
We’ve seen up to 8
I don't know 90% of the properties in this series, and I'm enjoying each and every episode in its own way!
Standouts for me were: Unreal Tournament: Xan, Warhammer, PAC-MAN: Circle, Mega Man, and Honor of Kings.
Totally forgot this series was out 'til I saw this review pop up on my YT Feed: Gracias Hermanos!!!!! I'm with Agustin & Hector: This 12min D&D Short was better than almost all of what SW has put out since Force Awakens...Acolyte & Book of Boba specifically!!!
this series was a fever dream
Please please please watch it all it’s all so good
Hope y’all get to the space marine one, episode 5. It’s peak animation and story crammed into 10 Minutes
its nice, but astartes anim was already better. There are better eps just in this anthology alone tbh
Is that the one with the father and daughter space story? As a girl dad, that one hit me hard! 😢
So glad you guys are reacting to this show. When I watch the series I knew almost nothing about the games. I can’t wait to see your reaction on the Pac-Man episode.
We can't blame hector lol
love that you are watching these - you could definetely fit more into one ep, some are really short and unfortunately - not that impressive. Would love next season of love death and robots if it ever comes out from you guys. Also waiting for creature commandos (patiently - take your time
Play the D&D...Do the D&D....Get your shiny math rocks!!
You guys need to react to the Warhammer 40k episode
This is why I get frustrated with movies that are very long.
You can tell a captivating story in a short span of time.
Can't wait for Pac-man 🤯
You guys ever watched “love death and robots”? This was made by the same people I believe.
Hope you guys still finish creature commandos
They will.
guys please find a dungeon master and do a DnD series
Where the creature commandos reaction?
Broski's what about Creature Commando's 😭😭
