At P1P6, i really thought the pick was Mystical over the Catacombs. I do not imply that I am right, but i'd like to know the reasoning of not picking a card that double the amount of Flash you will draw, with already a couple of good targets picked and some left to table, over a fetchland that you could pick later in another pack (not the Catacombs, but some other) Cheers!
Just my two cents, but I think in a team draft context, any fetch is going to be much better for the enemy team than the rest of the pack, so taking the universally good land and passing some much less powerful cards is a good idea.
@@eq.8640 specifically that is what this deck needed more of was consistency generation. He drew into big creatures when he needed sneak/flash and would have been much better off with fewer big animator targets but more ways of finding the pieces he needed in that moment. I was so looking forward to watching this deck play out and it was disappointing... He did have some bad draws, but when I thought about what he needed to draw and did basic probability checks it was clear that the deck was lacking a bit.
i would like to see in these videos how the rest of your team is doing. like maybe just flash on screen how the round went for your team and a recap at the end. the team aspect is a big driver in your decision making during the draft but in the context of the rest video its lost thereafter. I feel like it would be a good differentiator from just normal cube content. Maybe you can just mention it, instead of going back and doing more editing.
Agree, Talismans are weak. In a power cude your 2 drops can actually do something, and a decent 2 drop into decent 3 drop is better than a pass on the 2 drop followed by a great 4 drop. Each card should be an answer, a threat, or an engine piece for a combo. Pass the talismans
I was definitely less high on this deck than LSV. The deck basically doesn't work without either Sneak or Flash and there aren't many ways to find it; basically just Imperial Seal and a little bit of card draw. Everything costs life _(Seal, Death, Reanimate)_ and the deck has no ways to gain life. It's got a little removal and a little discard and is capable of insane draws, but doesn't look very consistent. Also, Ragavan? He's good T1 and never again and doesn't fit the plan at all. There wasn't a ton to pick over him _(Seal, Badlands, Grave Titan, Proving Grounds, Time Spiral; I'd snap off the Seal, but it came back anyway)_ but he's really not good here.
That very disappointed, quiet "thanks gemstone caverns" was priceless.
No Sandydog in a while. Hope he's doing fine.
We miss him D:
I haven't checked in with them but I wouldn't worry, I'm sure he's all white
I wouldn't worry, I'm sure he's all-white
He ran out of money from losing too much :^
Saw him on MTGO Freeform Tournament Practice yesterday. He's still cubing!
Just when I was about to sleep! Now I need to stay awake to watch this! Always loving a LSV draft!

I think LSV undervalues tutors sometimes

I was thinking of posting the same thing. I'm confident mystical is the pick there and I routinely pick fetchlands p1p1-p1p3
I find he really undervalued seal and vamp. The cube power is nuts. But let's be honest, LSV knows his stuff!
I feel like that Mawlock was justice for not going for it.
certainly justice for not playing the minsc and just winning on the spot.
agreed
This is my literal favorite thing to do in cube. My playgroup knows I pass unpassable cards if there is a sneak attack in the pack.
21:33 NOOOO! If you were on the draw, it would have been a turn 1 Palantir! 😂
33:59 Time Walk
22:10 Clearly the play is to imperial seal for worldspine. If they mill, they take 15, and if you get the draw, you can brainstorm it to try again. :V
You have so many free green sources in your mana base, why not play Leo!?
We literally just drafted a deck like this. First pick flash as well!!
I still can't wrap my head around you choosing something gets around protection from everything
Max punished for not playing Minsc and Boo under the voidwalker lol
Do you somehow seed the cards into a booster like MTGO does? Or is it completely random?
The goat has returned with another brew
Are we just not talking avout Match 1 Game 3 missing or am i getting some sort of youtube app bug
4beine pronounced correctly 10/10 vid right out the gate
Not playing Minsc n Boo and then losing your voidwalker was PAINFUL to watch
Watching you manifest the pack 3 mox was funny
the lord sultan of value himself
Stings a little watching him draft Hymn and Voidwalker and then watch Urborg go by THREE TIMES
Curtains lets them redraw, so the right take was none.
Surprised p6 mystical over verdant wasn't even a consideration with flash so well supported already.
Fetches >>>>>
I watched the whole video but can someone tell me, did he draw Sneak at any point?
Nope
Otharri is a real MVP
Not taking the tutor was a bit suss
Wait we're missing match 1 game 3!
Did Talisker even know what he was playing against? I think LSV showed no Sneak or Flash targets in two games.

Propa to you for learning how to say 4Beine!
