    In 1999, the last mainland landfill on Singapore would end operations also known as Lorong Halus Dumping Ground. At one point, collecting 70 percent of the island's trash singlehandledly with two other dumping sites in its heydays of the 70s.
    The very next day on the 1st of April, Pulau Semakau would open as a off-shore dumping ground.

    I love to watch Hokkien operas from Taiwan. Sge opera performers' movements are not very graceful. I hope Sge can revive interest in Chinese operas.
