The reason aim assist felt so terrible was actually a bug that doubled your scoped sens on controller. Should be fixed now, but may be worth double checking your settings
Also you can somewhat get your aim back by changing settings. The update automatically increased zoom on aiming and regular camera. It also increased sensitivity automatically as well so just bring those down. Sensitivity I dropped to 130-150 and zoom down to 60% and my aim feels back to how it use to before the update
Its nice not insta dying because everyone has great aim. I mean yeah it sucks that I'm not hitting all my shots but at the same time neither is the rest of the lobby so now the actual better player wins out. I like the new changes it makes the game flow better I'd rather miss some shots than get beamed from 5 blocks away every time you poke your head out a window.
Zanny with the reduced aim assist for console you should give the AKM a shot, much bigger magazine size and it’s the best gun for medium so you should have a better time with it.
Lower the ADS sensitivity, I'm pretty sure it's 120% by default. Making the change to 80 saved me after the update. Edit: Also as a console player it is insane to me that they didn't nerf the turret in any way, it's basically a free player on your team with how much health it has.
As someone who only played roller on PC cause it was so strong xD it needed a nerf. The zoom snapping with a shotgun that could one-shot people needed to go. The actual AA was a little over nerfed. xDDD
