I wrecked my back at 13 going into a pit face-first, so I flinched like a maniac every time you guys faceplanted in there. Amazing to see you work through this so fast and hit that release and catch, though. Terrific stuff, and hilarious as always.
Pits are scarier than most people know. If you land bad the cushions can hurt you.
The amount of persistence is incredible. Such a role model, and good motivation to keep at something you want.

Trust me i do gymnastics and it’s actually terrifying I got scraped from one of the bars even though there soft and cozy it hurts sometimes falling in

I don’t know how you have the bravery for this. I did a layout today and completely landed on my neck so now I am afraid to do it. Watching your videos makes me feel less bad about being scared to do a skill.

I love that feeling when you are shaking from being sooo terrified of doing something you know you can do and you land it after working at it.
Bmx is the same way of just trying something for months and years and finally getting it right
Shaking from both fear and adrenaline. Such a nice feeling when you finally ”get” it and become consistent though so the hard work pays off.

I feel there is nothing a gymnast does is natural. What the men and women do in this sport is amazing, and thank you Gracie for putting on to something I have never paid attention to but will now watch. Don't like the rules about if your clothing slips you get point deductions, watched a video on that, I don't know how you could do what you do without clothing not moving.
I feel ya, Grace. High bar always scared the beejeezus out of me as a kid. I was just a rec gymnast so I wasn’t doing anything fancy.

I’ve been trying to learn how to do a back hip circle for ages and I’ve done gymnastics science I was 6 or 5 and I’m 14 now so I’m pretty good at it but I can’t get over the fear of doing back hip circles, any tips?

It is called pre wrap and they put it around they’re wrists so that they’re wrists don’t get rashes or rips and it is a very very thin piece of foam

Wow I didn't know you guys used those things on your hands that look kinda like what bodybuilders use when they need some assistance to grab onto a barbell or pull-down bar beyond what their grip strength and wrist stability can accommodate
