You folks are our heroes! 🙏🙏
Thank you! Great for our homeschool learning about local community workers!
Fantastic video guys. I work as IT support for emergency services in a community in Alberta. This video answered so many questions for me that will help me do my job better. Thanks so much for sharing.
long but educational, awesome video, i feel like moving there and coming to work you guys.
Being a firefighter you sure have to learn a lot !! Wow
Our band ( Mark Farner) played at the Kelowna amphitheater in 2005 opening for Lou Graham. I played bass in the band and during our last song looked overhead at the hills above and recognised what appeared to me to be a house fire up on the top. I was an on call firefighter for Flushing Michigan at the time. Originally we were going to just hop into the van and go back to the hotel. But the incident turned into a huge wild fire and we had to remain in the parking lot of the theater to leave the road open for emergency vehicles. Finially after Lou Graham's set officials opened the road and we went back to the hotel where we continued to watch the forest fire from the hotel roof for a few hours before bed. We flew home the next day as air water tenders took turns scooping the lake and dropping the water on the fire. The city was beautiful at night with its open air cafe's and the casino. I personally loved your town. And of all the places i have played music at around the world Kelowna B.C. is one of my absolute favorites! I did see an engine running medicals several times during the night. Being from a firefighter family it made me feel right at home. By the way i live about 40 minutes from the Spartan plant where your ariel was manufactured. Great video..best of luck guys...be safe!
Thanks for the tour it was a great video !!!
You must be an upscale community. New equipment, new station and you seem pretty well prepared.
🤩😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Canada is beautiful
GREAT job
装备精良的救援之车随时待命赶赴火场投入战斗!🙏👍👍👍
why 2 radios by driver???
The video mentioned that the ladder truck was only staffed with one driver and the rescue truck with one driver and a lieutenant. Are they crossed staffed by the engine company or is there a callback or on call system to provide the rest of the firefighters to operate these units?
Hello! The aerial truck does not respond to every call. In the event it is required, personnel from the squad will drive it to the scene. In answer to the question, it is cross-staffed by squad (rescue). The officer in charge may alter the deployment based on the incident. There is another ladder truck in the city at a different station. Thanks!
Sounds like more of a manpower issue than anything
@@omrailit is
You need it
Where is this dept state wise
its in the province of british columbia in canada, the city is kelowna.
I collect patches can U help out ???
What is the apparatus in the back behind Engine 1 is it a reserve Engine?
its the actual engine 1, behind engine 1 (with ladder), the one with a ladder is the spare engine 1 i believe.
@@thehamiltonfirefighter4746 that Back Engine is Pumper 12
The Rig behind engine 1 is Pumper 12, it doesn’t really respond to calls as a normal rig, but rather acts as a spare if Engine 1 or any over engine is out of service for the time being
❤z❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All law enforcement visits will soon be virtual.
