Outdoor fan control of Solar Inverter by temperature measurement with DS18B20 probe, ESP01 Relay.

Some power electronic equipment such as solar inverters, especially in summer, tend warm up, which can reduce their performance and also shorten their useful life.
For this reason it is interesting to add an external fan to help dissipate the temperature. But to prevent it from continuing to operate when it is not necessary: Times of low production, at night or when the ambient temperature is low enough to dissipate without ventilation.
This circuit controls the temperature of the device: when it exceeds a limit, the fan starts and when it falls below another limit it stops.
We have configured it and we have the history in Home assistant as but since we have implementedthe control algorithm in ESPHome, it will continue to work even if there is offline.
To do this we will use a DS18B20 temperature probe and an ESP01_Relay that consists of a card with the ESP8266 microprocessor, a 3.3V voltage regulator and a relay.
Although we could use any ESP8266 or ESP32 card with a relay.
First we will see how the connection and assembly is made. It can be mounted in a junction box without a support but we have made one with a 3D printer.
Then we will configure and flash the microprocessor (we have to have ESPHome installed in Home assistant).
Finally we will see a little of the practical application.

The projects look much better with a custom PCB but in this case, since it is only a resistor, the mole circuits do the job.
Even if the circuit is more complex, if it is only one device it is not profitable either, although it is naturally much more professional.
We appreciate the comment and naturally if we have to make a series of PCBs we will take your suggestion into account.
