I agree, sometimes i see a perfect (clean) desktop and think… that’s not real… too staged.
Don't change! Love your personality and you're the one who got me hooked on crafting videos (long time crafter/artist, new to watching videos regularly). My son loves you too. He has even made some mini journals and got the Stabilo pencils because of you.
You make it realistic how crafting goes. Sometimes things just changes as you go. So there's nothing wrong with a messy desk.
Pam I love your messy desk. Crafting in reality makes me feel better about my desk. Not that the ladies and men who are prepare and organized don’t provide lots of inspiration too. Just nice to know there are crafters who live in the moment.

I don't bother to clean my desk until I finish the project I'm currently working on.
It's a waste of time and energy to clean it up every day because it's a mess again as soon as I get back to crafting. Which makes me happy no matter if my desk is clean or not.😊

Messy desk is part of the life of a crafter. Thank you for sharing the life of a crafter rather than just a perfect tutorial. There is a place for both, but I love your videos that help me have realistic expectations.
Like-- I will be getting up and down, up and down. . . To get things I forgot or something for a sudden inspiration. And mistakes happen. Just work around it or over it or whatever. It's just paper. Much more likely to experiment as I repeat that to myself.

I love watching your videos, especially now. I have been very sick for close to the entire month & unable to work on my junk journals. Watching your videos keeps me mentally involved in junk journalling while I recover. Your videos ars instructive and entertaining and I appreciate them.
With the pages buckling you could always use a travel iron to flatten the pages out. I love the crinkly look though it makes it look old and ancient. I always love your desk Pam, it has interesting scraps of paper and other goodies to look at. The cover is lookin great, can't wait till you decorate the pages. x

I am starting to work on a journal for my best friend’s 62nd birthday. We have been friends for 52 years! Although I am jj-ing in a couple different altered books, this will be the first time I’ve made my own signatures and sewn them into a hard book cover.
😂I laughed about your desk! I’m so messy and call myself a sprawler. We craft in a group several times a year and share 8 ft tables between two of us. We always invade each others space and lose things without even moving! Much of the time it’s stuck to some part of your clothing or under other supplies. Totally part of the crafting process!

I love your "brazenness" Pam! And you should see my desk LOL - OMGosh - it's a daily battle for me - and I actually have 2 desks - small one for my computer, and bigger one for crafting! I go back & forth - with watching videos & all - so the mess is strung from one to the other! Do you feel better about it now?? LOL Trust me - there are other desks that are messier than yours!! I got inspired by your videos - as I always do - and got some composition books on sale CHEAP to play with! Woot! I usually get stuff from thrift stores or cast-offs from friends - but I splurged and got something new! OH - speaking of new - I finally got one of those "aqureallable stabila" pencils - not sure what the number is though. Getting fancy schmancy!! Thumbs up!

Loving this Pam. Keep it real ..I’m making small junk journal notebook using, junk mail, gluing random papers together. After the row of paper gets long enough I cut them to the page sizes I need. I forgot what it’s called (franken something?). Anyway…have a wonderful rest of your day.
