Here in NYC people throw these scooters into the harbor and the rivers, the Bronx River is choked with them, it's an ecological nightmare. I was doing a river walk a few weeks ago and saw six scooters at the bottom and I walked less than a quarter mile of the river.
They had to make all of Michigan state university a no go zone for our area since there were 20+ scooters thrown into the red cedar after they died by drunk college kids within a month of them being added to east lansing 🤦♂️
I didn't think these things would start without an authorization? Surely they can be tracked somehow? I'm used to seeing these things because I lived in California and there was a lot more places with them. I've never used them because I have poor balance...but have seen younger people riding them around. It looks like it would be a lot of fun. This character who had one painted blue and two battery packs? Seriously? I mean if I see one just some at the corner of some neighborhood street I should question its reason for being there? Picture on the watch dogs who will love having another job... catching Lime scooter thieves. With all that cleverness, why not become an independent contractor instead of a thief.
you can disable the gps features on it ... there are plenty of methods to get them unlocked, whom ever is doing it here in Tulsa is an idiot for sure if they aren't doing that
