Very interesting video sir! I think just like layerstyles in ps?
Great, but how do I make a graphic style that only affects the object FX without affecting its color of the object - I want to apply some outline affects to many different objects, they are all different colors - the Graphic style makes them all the same color.
Dustin, How can I make the graphic style you have of the colorful dot pattern on the boxers? is there a pack I can to buy?
Unfortunately, that's a real halftone print right there. So that can't be exactly replicated. We do have a product called VectorTone for Adobe Illustrator and another called SparkPrint for Photoshop that product halftones. But they're not going to be as rich and textures as the image. That would involve converting to a CMYK color separation in halftone in Photoshop, then roughening slightly, putting a paper background behind it, and using some subtle ink brushes to texture the halftone.
how do you make pattern overlays and styles from jpg images and save them out as assets you can one-click add gold foil and glitter effects to txt, you can easily do this in photoshop but I can't find a tutorial on how to do this in illustrator.
Will this save when you close illustrator?
You can make it save when you close Illustrator. Just drag the effect into your Graphic Style panel. Then click the little lines icon in the upper left corner of the Graphic Style window and you'll see an option to save graphic styles.
good. ^^*
