The privatisation of our water/electricity/post/railways etc ruined the balance we had as an island we all paid the same no matter where we lived . Now its a nightmare .

It’s not necessarily every politician since Thatcher that believes in universal privatisation. It’s more that every government since has fallen into line with this policy because to disagree with it would require an increase in taxation and since Thatcher, taxation has become a dirty word and just the rumour of increased taxation reduces the chance of being elected. Though the electorate seem to think that we should still be able to have pre Thatcher public services on post Thatcher taxation and after she sold off national assets in the form of utilities and transport companies. So we have far less going into the public purse and a populace where too many feel that privatisation is the best route.

It's those immigrants that can turn up in Belgravia and never pay tax here that are the problem - but we don't talk about that because they're rich.
This ain't no war by racial or national characteristics, it's very clearly Rich versus Poor.

I found it a little sad when you said "make sure people watch this" and "Get your family and friends to watch this too." I expect that, living in a country that knows abysmally little about the rest of the world, and where "News" means "Solely American News." you'd just take it for granted that other countries also isolate themselves from what's going on all around them. The thing is: - we don't need to. Panel Shows, News programmes, Newspaper Headlines, Docos, (Documentaries), Interviews - they all thunder on about these issues. As that one person said: all of Europe knows about this. And so do other countries.
And... many of us are fighting it. Not with guns, violence & abuse but with Acorn (a Union to protect the working class) which is spreading to many other countries. It's not political, it's just about dodgy landlords who cause pain to those who live in dreadful conditions; exposing illegal moves on the part of rental companies, naming & shaming corrupt officials etc. etc. In one day recently, we managed to shut down every office of a certain agency across the length & breadth of England. Which resulted in certain laws being passed.
Recently I went & spoke at a conference in Leeds, and met an elderly American.man who was also due to speak. I remarked that surely that now Acorn is going to more & more countries, it surely would be able to help the working class in the US. Only when he got up to speak did I blush to the roots of my hair...he was the guy who had founded the movement! In America!! He thought it wonderful that the idea is being picked up in more and more places; where ordinary people were fighting for all "ordinary" people. But the one country which rejected it was the US.

This is just common or garden capitalism. In simple English it would be called theft, or robbery. Privatization was always about stealing properties and businesses owned by the people, because the people needs them, and giving them to private persons, who then live of "rents", or payments from the previous owners - US ! Politicians are and have been for most of my life : I remember the time before Thatcher and the disaster since : a bunch of badly educated, thieving scum. Britain has become a typical third-world shithole... to quote Trump, who completely agrees with these policies.

The City of London is really old.
Magna Carta 1297 (as amended from the 1215 original in 1225, and since, i.e. as currently worded on the statute books), Clause IX: "THE City of London shall have all the old Liberties and Customs [which it hath been used to have]. Moreover We will and grant, that all other Cities, Boroughs, Towns, and the Barons of the Five Ports, and all other Ports, shall have all their Liberties and free Customs."
Magna Carta 1215 (as transcribed by the National Archives), Clause XIII: "The city of London shall enjoy all its ancient liberties and free customs, both by land and by water. We also will and grant that all other cities, boroughs, towns, and ports shall enjoy all their liberties and free customs."
Not many parts of the Great Charter are still on the statute books as statutes have repealed them as they've incorporated and fleshed out the clauses, but given the City (created ~43 AD) and the City of London Corporation (created 1111 AD) predate the end of absolute monarchy there's no way the Barons (or later, Parliament) were going to upset the City by taking away their long-established freedoms.
The myth that the monarch needs permission to enter the City of London persists, probably started by someone in 1066 when William the Conqueror retreated from the locals. You'd imagine those granted Freedom of the City could enter it whenever they want to, given their right to trade in the City or to herd sheep across London Bridge - Queen Elizabeth II was made a Freeman of the City of London in 1947 (6 years before being crowned) and King Charles III was made a Freeman of the City in 1971 (52 years before being crowned).

A lot of facts here, but also a lot of using stats to exaggerate fact. Interesting that Huawei should be brought up. The security experts he mentions were U.S. security experts. It was shown and proven that Huawei wouldn't have the access that the Americans said and that we had security measures in place that would counter any threat. We buckled to the Americans and Trump because they had an alternate motive, this ended up costing us billions more. Yes a lot of these private companies are shite, but there is no comparisons in the video at all with how the state used to run these companies, it's all very one sided with some very dodgy statistics. Let the guy jump on a British rail train the in the 80's, and say it is all roses when the state runs these things.

Jimmy can do one. As of January 2024, there were over 800,000 social rented homes in London. This is about 20% of the capital's total homes. According to a 2021 census, 72% of Somalis in England and Wales lived in social rented housing. This is more than four times higher than the percentage of the English and Welsh population in social housing. And that is just ONE of the many ethnicities that make up London's population. Over 40% of London's residents were born outside the UK in 2021, according to the Office for National Statistics. This is much higher than the national average of 16%. So don't give me the crap that immigrants aren't displacing Native Brits at a massive financial cost burden for benefits, education, health and social housing on the natives.

That still means there are millions of ex council homes missing for people to live in, all thanks to Thatcher. Not sure I’d pay much attention to this video when it’s opening includes misusing historical ‘facts’ about the East India Tea Company, and what it did to India, just one fact alone, India did not exist as a Country officially until its grant of Independence in 1947, before then India was the name Britain gave it due to its use by ancient Greeks, the area known as India was in fact a group of small states or various empires, it was the British that brought them all together under one rule, tea wasn’t actually grown in India until introduced by the British in the early 1800s, and today tea makes up 23% of Indias exports and employs 3 million people.

Please don't generalise about "baby boomers". There are many of us who are very aware of what is going on. I share your anger about the Russians in Britain and the US. I'm an Australian and there is a fear that we are being played by the Russians as well. My anger goes back to Thatcher and her influence over political leaders across the western world. Australia has changed in many ways since our Prime Minister at the time followed her lead. It is criminal!

@oufc90 are you seriously questioning that 😳 Ruth Davidson now sits in the house of lords after helping to savatage the scottishreferendum to lose. She sampled votes across Scotland, and she announced the final verdict before the final count had been completed
She has been a member of the House of Lords since 2021.

To invade is the verb, to conquest or plunder such area's or assets. The invader or invaders is the noun, as in the person or person's doing so.
Many boat loads are coming across from certain area's, to plunder or conquest area's.
Admittedly he is correct about top brass, but a certain religion wants to establish things. Blasphemy laws as an example that are being tried to be rewritten in Blighty, we haven't had Blasphemy laws here for donkeys years. For all faiths. But a certain faction of the Muslim faith want it brought in.
Religion can be questioned or laughed at, but not so much against the Islamic faith..? Some parts of the western world have enclaves or ghettos that are prescribed to Sharia Law. It doesn't work in western society, even general societies. Then there is the gangs side of things.
Governments have been doing thing's for 100s of years with money and policies. But something is strange in wanting a certain demographic to vote for you, have they not read the Hadiths..?
