I am 70 years old and live in the state of Michigan, in the USA. While watching this flosstube, I was absolutely shocked. About 3 years ago I saw the Christmas tree that you showed, from UB Design. I have searched for it for years. I immediately Googled it and found it at a shop in a the states. They actually just started carrying UB Designs. They have about 6 books. I always enjoy your videos. I think you could enlarge the pear outline on a photocopier to make it the correct size for finishing. The box is beautiful! Matches the first stitch you show of the Christmas trees. The pillow one is very intriguing too, might check out the fireplace thread, looks like it might be nice for a rooster pattern I was looking at this afternoon.

I hope you had some sunshine as we did this week. Last week was very misty with low clouds so I stitched something cheerful. The bobbin box is beautiful and the design reminds me of a piece stitched in wools. I'm pleased you got permission to copy and stitch the sofa piece and look forward to what you eventually make. I'm going to a Knitting and Stitching Show on Thursday so I'm looking forward to all the beautiful pieces that will be displayed. I need inspiration to use all the collection of embroidery threads I collected in Lockdown which are still in the boxes I put them in so I won't add to my stash and have enough charts kitted up but a girl can look😂

Ik krijg altijd zin om mijn werkje erbij te pakken tijdens het kijken van je video’s (dus ook zeker gedaan!). Je aankopen zijn echt geweldig mooi, ik ga zeker een beurs bezoeken als het wat dichterbij zal zijn. Het doek misty is echt prachtig, ik ben recent begonnen met hoge counts linnen en ik vind het vintage effect ervan echt super. Ik hoop dat je de stitch with me gaat opnemen 🪡

Very lovely WIPS. Lovely new patterns especially from UB designs. My favourite is the one with the tree and borders. The problem is that I don’t want to buy any more patterns because I already have so many. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t go to Groningen (self protection 😉) I think I can find a pattern in my stash to stitch on Misty. Thank you for your time to make another entertaining video. Congratulations for getting permission to do a pattern on Hora's cross stitiching. It is lovely! Is it possible to recreate Hora's stitching on 40 count linen, 1 over 1, rather than 20 ct aida, 1 over 1? I think the linen would give it an elegant look.

I really enjoyed this video. Such a peaceful way to pass an evening of stitching. I just love all the sweet projects that you share and the beautiful pieces that speak to you. How exciting to be able to reproduce a portion of the antique sofa! I'm excited to see how that process unfolds and the finished product. :) Thanks for all your lovely videos and calming presence. Also, my husband is Dutch - both of his parents are Dutch but he's American born so I see some of the items you have in the background - your tea cup and sewing box, etc. - and it really is special as I think of the stories he's told me of his family over there. I always enjoy your videos. I think you could enlarge the pear outline on a photocopier to make it the correct size for finishing. I’m in a finishing mode so when someone says they have new starts I get very excited. 😂. Love YOUR misty blue piece. What an amazing bobbin box. You do so well at thrift shops. The box is beautiful! Matches the first stitch you show of the Christmas trees. The pillow one is very intriguing too, might check out the fireplace thread, looks like it might be nice for a rooster pattern I was looking at this afternoon.

Hanneke...another delightful posting...love your pear cross stitch...you can make copy of the completed pear on a copy machine and then compare the actual pattern and make adjustments to the size needed to the backing...Merry Christmas and best wishes❤

I hope you had some sunshine as we did this week. Last week was very misty with low clouds so I stitched something cheerful. The bobbin box is beautiful and the design reminds me of a piece stitched in wools. I'm pleased you got permission to copy and stitch the sofa piece and look forward to what you eventually make. I'm going to a Knitting and Stitching Show on Thursday so I'm looking forward to all the beautiful pieces that will be displayed. I need inspiration to use all the collection of embroidery threads I collected in Lockdown which are still in the boxes I put them in so I won't add to my stash and have enough charts kitted up but a girl can look😂

Ik krijg altijd zin om mijn werkje erbij te pakken tijdens het kijken van je video’s (dus ook zeker gedaan!). Je aankopen zijn echt geweldig mooi, ik ga zeker een beurs bezoeken als het wat dichterbij zal zijn. Het doek misty is echt prachtig, ik ben recent begonnen met hoge counts linnen en ik vind het vintage effect ervan echt super. Ik hoop dat je de stitch with me gaat opnemen 🪡

Very lovely WIPS. Lovely new patterns especially from UB designs. My favourite is the one with the tree and borders.
The problem is that I don’t want to buy any more patterns because I already have so many. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t go to Groningen (self protection 😉) I think I can find a pattern in my stash to stitch on Misty.

Congratulations for getting permission to do a pattern on Hora's cross stitiching. It is lovely! Is it possible to recreate Hora's stitching on 40 count linen, 1 over 1, rather than 20 ct aida, 1 over 1? I think the linen would give it an elegant look.
