I really like this video because it shows your process. So many times when I’m crafting I get frustrated because I can’t get it right the first time. It’s awesome to know that you keep trying until you get it just right. 😀
At one point when I get frustrated form crafting I end up chucking my craft. 😅🤣

If yall really struggle making your lines neat, you could probably use some fine grate sandpaper to sand the edges smooth. Using thicker plastic would probably help to make sure you don't break them while sanding.
I that Froggy always recycled unused stuff and Materials to make something amazing!!! So creative and full of ideas!!!!

Hey froggy what if next time you make glasses try using a dollar store mini file to clean the edges and see if that work. I'm just curious.
I love this method! Easy to make (with practice), cheap, and a way to recycle. Could you smooth the edges with a nail file when using thicker plastic? In a well ventilated area, of course.

A photo developing studio shut down and I managed to get some clear colored plastic that they used to make "old-school Instagram filters" with x'D They make heckin' cute glasses.

I think Mini Toya and Mini Bella would look great with Cat's Eye frames! Or maybe the glasses from the cartoons and video games? It'd be cool if there were doll clothes and accessories based on the ones from Animal Crossing and such! ^^
You make me want to make another doll house and design more clothes to go with those cute, sophisticated glasses and I haven't made a doll house or doll clothes since I was about 14 yrs old.

10:23 - As an alternative, use the "rose"- colored drink bottles for a more feminine fashion statement ("rose-colored glasses," lol). And (I know these are rare, but) also those dark thin plastic temporary shades that they give out at the eye doctors' offices (after your eyes have been dilated during an exam). They're really dark compared to most other types of plastic; and would make a great pair of sports sunglasses, especially for 1/6-size male dolls like Ken. 😎

I used to watch you when i was a kid. My best friend at the time recommended you. She was obsessed with you and you were her inspiration to start a UA-cam channel. (She wanted to be a full time youtuber as a profession.) I don't know how she's doing nowadays cause sadly we lost touch but this brought back great memories from my childhood. hey froggy, for the rim of the glasses u could use a 3D modelling pen thingy (that shoots out plastic) and outline ur glasses rims! hope this helped

Awetastic craft! Love it & u only have to use recycled plasric & paint!!! 💜👓👓 im bias cuz I wear glasses to & mine r purple; my fav color ever!! 😁
IDK if anyone else mentioned this, but with the Walnut Hollow Woodburning kit, there is a knife tip. The heated blade cuts through plastic much easier and leaves a cleaner, soft edge unlike the ragged, sharp edge a regular knife leaves

These are so cool! I also saw saw the bjd artist Culur use uv resin to build up a clear frame on top of a plastic base, and I think that could be really cool for your dolls too! There’s an igtv video on her instagram to show what she did.

Which size do you think would work best for a MH/EAH doll? Can't wait to try this out for ooak projects!
At first, I thought you would try to bend them out of Jewelry wire.. but it would have been a lot harder than just reusing the old plastic. I prefer the way you did it, good job!
Maybe you could add a dotted line on the outside if the template to help keep lines straight. I don't know id it would work but it's worth a try!
