In this tutorial, I'll show you how to fix overexposed images in Affinity Photo. By using a Curves Adjustment and Blend Ranges, we can dramatically improve blown out highlights. - Навчання та стиль

Great video indeed. The resuts are stunning, while packed in a mere 2 minutes! The UA-cam algorithm is now feeding me these videos, and I guess it will double down on them with my comments ;) Great!
Excellent work Ally!

Thank you! 🤗
Thank you
Thanks Kevin!
Great tutorial as usual. Thank you. I usually save your videos in my Affinity Revolution library so I can go back to view them later to refresh my memory but this one doesn't have a save option. It only has a like/dislike option and a share option. Do you know why?
At least on my screen, there is a "..." to the right of the share button, with a "Save" option under the "...". Hopefully it's the same for you!
Thank you! Same in reverse for making an image lighter? Usually I need to make images brighter?
Yes, the same thing but in reverse. Make the Curves adjustment brighter, and then use Blend Ranges on the 4th node (instead of the 3rd node, as shown in this video).
@@AffinityRevolution Thank you!
Nice
Thank you 😊
Moc děkuji ok.👏
Thank you! 😊
Ahah. 😂 This is a magical micro tutorial. ✌
Haha thank you! 😄
Is it possible to easily duplicate the changes on a different photo like copy past? or do photos in bulk in affinity photo?
You can make a macro, and then apply that macro during batch processing. Here is a video on how to do that: ua-cam.com/video/L-p7lL-ROzU/v-deo.htmlsi=xQFXYN_iL4eJFK9D
That is a real dramatic change in photo editing. I really like it also what’s the update? How’s your husband doing? My prayers are with you guys is he feeling a lot better? I am always here I am a certified Medi-Cal peer support specialist. I work with people who have mental health and substance abuse. I’m taking classes right now to become a substance-abuse counselor it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him in a video Maybe he can pop in and give us a hello from time to time I learned a lot from the both of you over the years
That's so nice of you to think of Ezra. 😊 He is doing well. His voice is permanently weak though, so he helps me plan my videos, and then I film & edit them. It's sad his voice is damaged, but he's still doing well, and we enjoy getting to work together.
I like her she so cleak spoken..
Thank you! 😊
What I like is that those tips apply also to Photoshop.. Or the other way around..
That's true, pretty much anything you do in Affinity Photo you can do in Photoshop, and vice versa.
It's important because at work I have to use Photoshop indesign and illustrator but at home or freelancing I use the Affinity series.. It's an incredible bang for the buck and the fact that those softwares resemble each other, speeds up my learning curve.. Love your tutorials .. Keep bringing them on.. :) ..@@AffinityRevolution
I like your clearly explained tutorials very much! But how about some constructive additional questions? I find there is a crucial step missing: The colors still look posterized in some way. How can we get smooth transitions between the colours?
Why the adjustment curve did not appear on the iPad?
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 En Affinity Photo, corregir áreas sobreexpuestas implica oscurecer la imagen utilizando capas de ajuste de curvas.
00:31 El equilibrio entre las áreas sobreexpuestas y las sombras se logra ajustando "blend ranges" para controlar el oscurecimiento de manera específica.
01:15 Después de ajustar la exposición, es importante revisar y mejorar los colores utilizando capas de ajuste HSL para aumentar la saturación y corregir tonalidades.

That's a good summary. 🙂
I'm glad you like it. It's a summary generated by the AI Harpa and I posted it by mistake, as I don't like to be intrusive with my comments. The tutorial, as always, is magnificent. Thank you.@@AffinityRevolution
