I love this channel. You guys are super informative and for a guy new to fishing, these videos help me go out with a ton more confidence to catch. Thank you both for these sick videos.
That exact underspin has saved me on so many days when nothing else was working, i have a full line up of them and like pairing them with the xzone swammer in different sizes and colors...ive gone a bit nuts this year building up my stock on that stuff...almost obsessive haha. Great video Tim.
@@c.shoefishThat she knows about or sees 😉😉 a simple 5$-10$ Dollars a day savings at work or even small as 2$-3$ a day on something or the other. Will add up for the true GUILY PLEASURES we all have and need to service 😉buy daily weekly monthly or even bigger yearly😉
@@Nate_Higgins I pay all the bills and take care of savings...and she takes care of the daily spending and budget. She doesn't give me a hard time about buying fishing stuff...but when she says enough...I listen. Same goes for her. It works out.
I think its important to also take whatever lure you choose when you see them eating shallow bait... Is to try different cadences. Sometimes they want it swimming, strolled, hopped, or twitched. Simply changing your cadence on the same exact lure they didn't eat the first few times you tossed in there, can get them to come unleashed. #CheckYourCadence
Thanks Tim! Had an idea for an educational series in case you guys were interested… Basically a condensed version of the raw videos you guys do, but segmented by technique and maybe with a little extra instruction. think it would be great to see it all in action over a longer period of time. Would give you time to talk us through variations of retrieve, your thought process, how often you switch baits, etc… Just an idea. But either way, keep up the awesome work! You guys have been a huge help in (somewhat haha)figuring this bass fishing thing out!
Definitely right Tim I have a couple of that style jig heads and I have caught more bass than a jig head with no blades. Thanks bud great info and tips 👍🏻
Spybaits are just the ultimate banger. You can also add a bladed treble at the back hook, and that extra flash sometimes makes all the difference in the world.
Fishing here in Western Pennsylvania mainly on the Ohio River has been rough. Mostly walleye the smallmouth have went vacant thanks for the tips and tricks man, love the videos
I love fall fishing. BTW, when are you going to bring the kids out again? Its always fun to watch those two battle it out and I'm waiting for the day when dad gets out fished by one of his own 😂
I may be crazy but I totally believe it's the stained water I live kind of north but as our lakes green up from algea the water is still clear but more green. Gold blades are what works period. I don't know if it's more flash but more realistic flash for the water color if that makes sense
Nicely done ~ but up here at the 45th parallel, "Fall Fishing" rarely happens in flip flops and shorts. More like polar fleece & a wool Cap ! Stay Safe
Serious question, hope I can get an answer this time from tacticalbassin! I understand that you guys developed an underspin, and so you push it in your videos. That being said just a few years ago whenever you mentioned an underspin, it was ALWAYS the coolbaits underspin. What makes your underspin superior to the coolbaits? Or why does the coolbaits not get any mentions? I'm a big fan of the channel, and because of your videos on the coolbaits underspin I fell in love with it. It's my go to when throwing an underspin. Thanks for reading. Awesome video as always
Great question! We have no desire to bash a product, publicly or privately. As you know, the Coolbaits is a fish slayer! But you also may have noticed amongst many, many different heads, including that one, that many baits impede the blade's ability to turn, especially at slow speed. You may have also noticed you're going through baits faster than you ideally would (bait keeper issue). Since no one else did it (we don't want to be bait makers, it's a pain), we set out to solve all the problems at once. We believe we've done that, and that's why the coverage switched to what we believe is the best finesse underspin. We couldn't care less if someone ever buys one, we did it because there were real flaws in the available baits on the market and it needed to be addressed for all of us.
@tacticalbassin thanks for the reply. That totally makes sense. I was in no way implying you guys was bashing coolbaits. Awesome content as always. You guys are rock!
Have you guys filmed your inshore fishing trips? I would really.like to see how you guys approach inshore species. If you have were can I find the videos iv checked your website and your UA-cam channel
I have 1 casting rod a 7ft med baitcaster and i am going to pick a med heavy fast one that is 7ft. What line would you suggest if those are the only 2 baitcasters i will have . I am in the midwest if that matters. I also want to mainly fish bottom contact lures with some moving baits and topwaters thrown in when i can.
i've been trying underspins, but so far i've not caught on it. only straight swimbait on a jighead. which suits me fine. maybe i've just got the wrong combo
Northeast angler here & idk if I’m just not in the right place but the underspin has not been producing at all , things get tough up here with these crazy temp flux
So 6th sense has those line through swim bait heads... now what if hear me out... you do that hybrid treble hook with the blade on top of a little swimbait that way 🤔 really gets the noggin joggin
For sure, im in upstate eastern NY on Lake Champlain and the fishing gets totally different wayyyy sooner than just about any other place or state. If you think you're struggling at your fisheries I challenge you to come try our areas lol. I don't mean the person who posted the NE comment, just the others.
I'm in southern new England. I just cant catch them in the fall and I never have been able to. I was on them early and followed them out of their summer spots into early fall areas but I totally lost them now. I end up chasing stripper and Tog in the bay.
fished 9 hours today...not even a bite. Water is super clear after flooding 2 weeks back. Drove for 2 hrs up and down the river with my helix on side im, down im and 2d...saw nothing. threw jigs, swimbaits, underspins, neds, micro jigs, karashi, tb micro a rig, tactical dd 75 (4 colors) and even went to a senko...hell, i couldnt even catch a cold today.

I have a dark sleeper with the tail bit off. Going to try and screw in a blade in it's place for some smallies on LSC.
I like your thinking

Took advice from Matt
I fished my lake I grew up on everyday since July and I caught a 9-10 Lb Bass on the drop shot robo worm from the bank
Thanks for answering my question without even asking because I use spinning baits in this time of the year or just a fluke and if I can I jerkbait
Love underspins and tail spins, they simply just get bit. Any chance we get a scrounger video soon?
Instead of a red hook, I’ve started adding a treble with a blade to the front of my topwater lures!

What pound test do you use on tail spinners

Hey tim would you say a gold blade in clear water has less flash than a silver blade in clear water??
Do you swim a tail spin or just pop it up and down
