Nice. I'm eager to see how the paint turns out. I just replaced the steering rack and shocks on my Tazz 2E(Corolla). What kind of power gain do you think I will get by porting the head and fitting free flow branches and exhaust?
spoiler: the paint came out really good also new video coming out tonight. i have just put coby extractors on mine with 2,5 inch exhaust with 1/5 reducers it makes a noticeable power increase also makes the motor more rev happy.
Hi there, any idea what the paint code is for the engine bay. I have a RED corolla paint code super red II 3e5 but the under the hood is a different code
i know this is unrelated but i repaced the fuel filter on my 2E corolla and it wont start, it does crank and everything but no start, i can see theres fuel in the filter, my dad isngoijg to be mad at me help
Hey bro, auckland based aswell loving the content. long shot but I have just swapped out my 1e engine in my starlet for a 2e. I used the carb and dizzy from the 1e and she screams along at high revs. But low rpm she's a Missy bitch. Any advice? Or any ideas on how to get the 2e carb with the auto choke to work? , and if you are thinking of going downdraft weber I have a dcd 28/36 I could give you for a hand on my starlet. Cheers Craig
i would ditch the 1e carbs they are mostly junk and would swap it out for a stock dual barrel 2e carb. The jets are bigger for a 2e carb which might be one reason for the low-end missing because the idle jet will be too small you can just not run the auto choke but you will need to hold revs on cold starts for 30 seconds thanks

Guys I really need help, 2e enginehas knocking sound but it's not rod knock as compression is good, what else could it be?
check for loose stuff never had this problem so couldn't tell you what it could be sorry mate

fixed it, just poured some fuel directly in the carburator
sir may i ask? my 2e has a backfire while idling. even though the distributor cap is new and sparkplug and the timing is 10degrees btdc
probably a lead not working and causing it to run a 3

Can i ask? the pin bearing of the 2e and 3e are the same?
