I played since Chapter 1, season 2, but haven't bought a battle pass until season 6. I wouldn't even be mad if they brought back old battle passes because not everyone have the skins that they wanted back in the day.

i wouldnt mind either, i feel like there still should be skin exclusivity but only the skins you get through spending alot of money or skins that were part of an event and arent collabs or too story related, i started in chapter 2 but i do sympathize with people who started late chapter 4 or chapter 5 because they missed alot, i hope we get a chapter 3 og because the first season of that chapter had some really fun locations and gameplay and newer players should have the chance to experience that

I completely agree that they should try and make them return, but what you’re stating just isn’t true. If Epic Games were to do as you suggest, and completely go back on the terms they set, then that opens them for a lawsuit from LITERALLY EVERYONE WHO EVER PURCHASED A BATTLEPASS. And since Epic set those terms which they then ignored, people would have a pretty strong case against them. The only way OG Battle Passes can return is if Epic is able to find some loophole, either in the legal system, or in their original BP agreements.

I really like some of my "og" skins and I would love for them to have an additional style, if they do it like paradigm or skull trooper, release the old skins with an exlusive style I would be really happy. I think that would be a win win win situation, epic would get money, new players old skins and og players new styles. That would also prevent most complaints about exclusivity
Considering Epic is working on a "New Mode" it would be cool if that was just OG and cycled through the OG Maps and instead of battle stars you get a currency for the old pass your grinding

There are several beloved Marvel characters that were locked to the Battle Pass and that is just the tip of the collab issue. They have to. I joined Chapter 1 season 2 and it's disgruntling to me to think that people will be telling their kids that they can't have a skin (especially collab skins) just because they weren't born yet.
Then you have the type of players that'll respond with "old battlepasses can't return because it'll be against what they advertised..." There's been many instances where epic (accidentally) went against their own word and released a supposed exclusive skin back to people to purchase, and they received an edit style for it.

There are so many skins I do wish I could get. I just joined a few months ago. A friend told me about the collaborations that were happening in the future. With the Fallout T-45 power armor being one of them, I missed out due to not having money at the time. I also just missed the underground battle pass with some great skins like Oscar for example a few weeks prior (luck was not on my side). This cool Anthro Tiger dude in fancy clothes and military gear, he looked pretty cool. Or heck I missed Lara Croft back in the day as well as Geralt from the Witcher. I even missed Dire, which was a OG battle pass Werewolf skin. So much stuff I did not experience or missed. Due to life experiences. Gaming was a luxury, I fell on hard times. And couldn’t afford this stuff. After my mom died of cancer I just fell into a deep depression and was homeless for a while. Going from place to place.

@@OMGiTzKarma I was on the fence in the beginning. When Fortnite just stated I did not know. I see friends and family play it. The interest was there but no spark. It was not until a friend showed me some of the collabs and skins I was curious one day and just downloaded it. It was a good break from league of legends and other games I played. I got hooked seeing how fun it was but as a new player to play with friends and family I found out there was a lot to learn. And as for your second question. Times were tough back then, 10 dollars or 8.99 could be spent for food. Gaming was a luxury and I fell on hard times, I was poor. Not to mention where I was at the time. After my mom died of cancer, and then I had no place to go for a few years with no home to go to. There was no way I could invest into a game while not being financially stable. All I ask is for a second chance or maybe an ability to get these skins. You Og Players can have exclusive stuff, all I ask is a fair shake. Let me get those skins I missed out on. I play these games to just de-stress from a hard days work and just socialize with friends. Why do OG players want to keep the exclusive stuff? To show off? To get an ego boost? As much crap I give league, at least their exclusive skins and stuff can be acquired for a later time. Fomo is not a good place to go to. Fair is when everything is on a level playing field. You get your exclusive premium recolor or new variation on a exclusive skin, I get the normal exclusive skin without the bells and whistles, because I love the design of the character. We should not have to treat videogames as "investments" we should just be able to go in and use the items we want to use after buying or working for them in our own time. I know a guy who battled cancer throughout the entirety of chapters 3 and 4, and missed out on many different skins due to instances beyond his control. I think getting multiple skins for just 950 V-bucks is a fair enough trade, just let them come back to the item shop.
I play since the first Sesson of all, but I stopped in chapter 2 season 2, I lost so many wonderful skins that today became impossible to achieve, original skins or collaborations, I don't care about all the things that I have been able to make available to the big public, I have complete Omega and everything, I wouldn't mind coming back tomorrow for example, I would also find it unfair to have some OG style for all of them, because it divides the community and solves the problem 100%. Another thing that I think would be cool if the passes came back, would be to give new styles to them (available to everyone) to encourage those who already had to play once again and new players would witness old things as if they were new, imagine a Superman Bizzaro as new style or the Peixoto Cartoon imitating more skins, even skins like Midas being able to have all the styles in one account, the white and the black and you can activate reactivity or turn on and off the golden skin, that would be amazing, many. skins that are considered bad would gain a new style giving them a second chance, this idea of OG is very stupid, today people play mostly with what they like best. And the new paradigm style made me lose hope of that. 😢

UA-cam recommended your channel to me, and I just wanna say that when I play this game, I never see so many people using old skins from the old battlepass. It's always from the shop or a few battlepasses ago. Yeah, sure, I see someone using from season 1 and so, but it's always a mix of everything. I don't much care if they bring it back. Its epic they can do whatever it want.
As an og player who has been playing since chapter 1 season 4 i am ok with battle pass cosmetics being available in the shop however i believe that us og players should get an exclusive style on some of these og skins

I disagree with this. I am fine with collab stuff returning but non collab stuff shouldn’t. I missed out on ch1 s2 and 3 and have since then accepted I won’t ever get them but I never let that stop me from enjoying everything else they gave after.
At the very least they should bring back collab skins like Darth Vader, Eren Yeager, Optimus Prime, the Marvel skins, etc. Skins from third party ips should never be limited time battlepass exclusives.

i think most are just mistakes with the item shop situations, they already had solutions but for paradigm it took them a while, so that def was an honest mistake the pass assets in the files being added is super weird, so they def are considering it, and keep in mind epic needed a way to cheaply get people to buy items and used that aspect of "buy and be unique"
im expecting more remix skins for next og season but it would be pretty wild if they dropped the original midas skin maybe even make him tier 100, i know last og season ended at like 70 but with how buffed xp is right now i wonder if they will make it closer to a normal battlepass or if they will just nerf the xp you gain to the ground again
Exclusivity of old cosmetics has eroded a fair chunk of the community due to “rarity” and i have slowly come around to the idea that its bullcrap that these old cosmetics shouldn’t be rereleased. they should and its a shame that most people new to the game cant ever get certain skins that they like just because they were from an old battle pass its also great for people like me who were just not able to complete certain battle passes due to time constraints or real world life events. Some of my favorite skins i just dont have due to real life issues.

Dude, SBMM matches you with players of a similar skill, so you will only see players that will use female skins because it is the standard set by the best players. Go into any small creative map and you are bound to see 100s of people wearing “non-sweaty” skins.

I played somewhat in C1S6 but never bought the pass because I wasn't really a fan of FN at the time so I quit after that. Ever since I came back at the end of C4S4 I've wanted some way to actually have a use for levels 201+ (Normal Seasons) and 70+ (OG Seasons). So, if we get the ability to buy passes from C1S2-C5S3, I'm picking up Season 6 as soon as possible since it's the only pass I own an item from that I haven't completed

As a og player who’s played since before renegade raider came out and own og stuff I don’t care if they return. I definitely am excited to see these old battle passes come back and skins emotes and cosmetics people missed out on return at the end of the day it matters how the gameplay is and enjoyment those are just digital items at the end of the day

Exclusive means exclusive man it’s not even about being “OG” or whatever, it’s the fact that FOMO built the game, like it or not a huge chunk of their revenue from chapter 1 was battle passes, There would be a world of legal trouble if epic games brazenly brought back something the advertised as exclusive, it’s the same thing back in season 5 they rereleased an exclusive starter pack (rogue agent) and people went nuts, obviously things have changed but even the old exclusive packs have never made a return, (wingman, rogue agent etc)

I really like some of my "og" skins and I would love for them to have an additional style, if they do it like paradigm or skull trooper, release the old skins with an exlusive style I would be really happy.
I think that would be a win win win situation, epic would get money, new players old skins and og players new styles. That would also prevent most complaints about exclusivity
Considering Epic is working on a "New Mode" it would be cool if that was just OG and cycled through the OG Maps and instead of battle stars you get a currency for the old pass your grinding
If OG battlepasses come back, OG owners should get OG styles for every skin and pickaxe

Before you try to criticize others maybe you should try actually playing the game first. There are several beloved Marvel characters that were locked to the Battle Pass and that is just the tip of the collab issue. Also if this move were to come to pass then all the skins wouldn't be rare anymore, so it makes no sense for lorenzcarrillo5612 to care about rarity. They have to. I joined Chapter 1 season 2 and it's disgruntling to me to think that people will be telling their kids that they can't have a skin (especially collab skins) just because they weren't born yet.
Then you have the type of players that'll respond with "old battlepasses can't return because it'll be against what they advertised..."
There's been many instances where epic (accidentally) went against their own word and released a supposed exclusive skin back to people to purchase, and they received an edit style for it.
I genuinely think ppl care less about the collab skins than the originals and u would see way more ppl using the originals

There are so many skins I do wish I could get. I just joined a few months ago. A friend told me about the collaborations that were happening in the future.
With the Fallout T-45 power armor being one of them, I missed out due to not having money at the time. I also just missed the underground battle pass with some great skins like Oscar for example a few weeks prior (luck was not on my side). This cool Anthro Tiger dude in fancy clothes and military gear, he looked pretty cool. Or heck I missed Lara Croft back in the day as well as Geralt from the Witcher. I even missed Dire, which was a OG battle pass Werewolf skin. So much stuff I did not experience or missed. Due to life experiences. Gaming was a luxury, I fell on hard times.
And couldn’t afford this stuff. After my mom died of cancer I just fell into a deep depression and was homeless for a while. Going from place to place.

@@OMGiTzKarma I was on the fence in the beginning. When Fortnite just stated I did not know. I see friends and family play it. The interest was there but no spark. It was not until a friend showed me some of the collabs and skins I was curious one day and just downloaded it. It was a good break from league of legends and other games I played. I got hooked seeing how fun it was but as a new player to play with friends and family I found out there was a lot to learn.
And as for your second question. Times were tough back then, 10 dollars or 8.99 could be spent for food. Gaming was a luxury and I fell on hard times, I was poor. Not to mention where I was at the time. After my mom died of cancer, and then I had no place to go for a few years with no home to go to. There was no way I could invest into a game while not being financially stable. All I ask is for a second chance or maybe an ability to get these skins. You Og Players can have exclusive stuff, all I ask is a fair shake. Let me get those skins I missed out on. I play these games to just de-stress from a hard days work and just socialize with friends. Why do OG players want to keep the exclusive stuff? To show off? To get an ego boost? As much crap I give league, at least their exclusive skins and stuff can be acquired for a later time. Fomo is not a good place to go to. Fair is when everything is on a level playing field. You get your exclusive premium recolor or new variation on a exclusive skin, I get the normal exclusive skin without the bells and whistles, because I love the design of the character. There, if that makes the OG players happy.
@@OMGiTzKarma some of us have circumstances beyond our control and can't play the game during these periods. We should not have to treat videogames as "investments" we should just be able to go in and use the items we want to use after buying or working for them in our own time.
I know a guy who battled cancer throughout the entirety of chapters 3 and 4, and missed out on many different skins due to instances beyond his control.
I think getting multiple skins for just 950 V-bucks is a fair enough trade, just let them come back to the item shop.
I play since the first Sesson of all, but I stopped in chapter 2 season 2, I lost so many wonderful skins that today became impossible to achieve, original skins or collaborations, I don't care about all the things that I have been able to make available to the big public, I have complete Omega and everything, I wouldn't mind coming back tomorrow for example, I would also find it unfair to have some OG style for all of them, because it divides the community and solves the problem 100%.
Another thing that I think would be cool if the passes came back, would be to give new styles to them (available to everyone) to encourage those who already had to play once again and new players would witness old things as if they were new, imagine a Superman Bizzaro as new style or the Peixoto Cartoon imitating more skins, even skins like Midas being able to have all the styles in one account, the white and the black and you can activate reactivity or turn on and off the golden skin, that would be amazing, many. skins that are considered bad would gain a new style giving them a second chance, this idea of OG is very stupid, today people play mostly with what they like best.
And the new paradigm style made me lose hope of that. 😢

My one concern is that some sponsored battle pass skins may not come back due to licensing issues because that's what happened with Call of Duty when they brought back old battle passes.
I believe that if this is going to happen, I believe that super levels should be the only exclusive thing that should remain in the passes.

i think most are just mistakes with the item shop situations, they already had solutions but for paradigm it took them a while, so that def was an honest mistake
the pass assets in the files being added is super weird, so they def are considering it, and keep in mind epic needed a way to cheaply get people to buy items and used that aspect of "buy and be unique"

Exclusivity of old cosmetics has eroded a fair chunk of the community due to “rarity” and i have slowly come around to the idea that its bullcrap that these old cosmetics shouldn’t be rereleased. they should and its a shame that most people new to the game cant ever get certain skins that they like just because they were from an old battle pass its also great for people like me who were just not able to complete certain battle passes due to time constraints or real world life events. Some of my favorite skins i just dont have due to real life issues.

I played somewhat in C1S6 but never bought the pass because I wasn't really a fan of FN at the time so I quit after that. Ever since I came back at the end of C4S4 I've wanted some way to actually have a use for levels 201+ (Normal Seasons) and 70+ (OG Seasons). So, if we get the ability to buy passes from C1S2-C5S3, I'm picking up Season 6 as soon as possible since it's the only pass I own an item from that I haven't completed

Otherwise this game seems to be slowly dying now, firstly because of dumb management and developing decisions (spoiling of UI, removing rarities and career achievements etc)

As a og player who’s played since before renegade raider came out and own og stuff I don’t care if they return. I definitely am excited to see these old battle passes come back and skins emotes and cosmetics people missed out on return at the end of the day it matters how the gameplay is and enjoyment those are just digital items at the end of the day

Exclusive means exclusive man it’s not even about being “OG” or whatever, it’s the fact that FOMO built the game, like it or not a huge chunk of their revenue from chapter 1 was battle passes, There would be a world of legal trouble if epic games brazenly brought back something the advertised as exclusive, it’s the same thing back in season 5 they rereleased an exclusive starter pack (rogue agent) and people went nuts, obviously things have changed but even the old exclusive packs have never made a return, (wingman, rogue agent etc)
I’m gonna make it clear I could care less if the battle pass skins come back so long as OG players get compensation for the money, effort, and grinding put into this game, I remember spending literally 2 days trying to search chests at risky reels not to mention the other insanely hard challenges (FUCKING FORTBYTES) they can’t advertise something as exclusive and bring it back without some sort of compensation, that’s a slap in the face to the people who gave them hundreds of hours of gametime.
