Hearing Pouya talk about anxiety is like hearing me and my friends talking about what we go through... Right now I'm on Wellbutrin, Paxil, and Lorazepam at night. Finding the right medicine regime is stressful as fuck and really taxing on your life but I have hope it will help in the end. I already feel a lot better but not 100%. Keep working at it Pouya I know you'll be able to figure something out! Going to a psychiatrist is uncomfortable and definitely makes you feel worse some times but they can help you find the right solution over time. Thank you for being so honest all the time, a lot of people struggle with mental disorders and never talk about it so bringing attention to the cause is really important! :)

Very true! I am very active and do notice that it helps a lot. Especially because I get more tired at the end of the day so I don't have racing thoughts as much before bed. But there are still times when I feel that anxiety and man it sucks! Especially in social situations. But it's all good advice, thank you guys

Getting a job helped me get over my social anxiety. I'm an introvert and private, but having a job forced me to conform.

I really appreciate Pouya being so open about anxiety. Ive had bad panic attacks for a long time, but recently ive been getting it together. Everyone out there who has anxiety can learn to drastically reduce those negative emotions. Stay positive and keep your mind open. Great interview, thanks.

Pouya has a good head on his shoulders... He's gonna be big. The whole therapy/anxiety shit I can totally relate to and it's cool he's promoting not taking meds and dealing with it in natural ways.
Can't help byt just be happy for the dude, grinding hard for so long and just the simplest things bring him the most joy like having Netflix and getting to watch old TV shows or just getting to chill with a girl who's really down for him. Definitely one of my favourites. UU
shout out to pouya for addressing the anxiety problem topic. everything he said and how he explained what anxiety is about and how ppl have to deal with is right on point. I'm 26 years old and prescribed a heavy amount of xannax and been like this since 18 and it is very crippling and leads to depression cause for me they come hand and hand. thanks bro for making me realize that I'm not the only one who has panic attacks and can still be successful and never use your disorders as a crutch in life and let ppl pitty or feel bad for you cause they see your everyday struggles. wish I had friends that understand that and help you get over your fears just by being there, I always tell ppl I have anxiety problems when I first meet them or know me that way its off my chest and makes me feel better that they know before I have an anxiety attack. love your music and jam it everday all day long, keep making great music....
pouya is mad talented, but he is different... I really liked UU, but it was a weird release. he has a natural intelligence despite being a dropout and all that. it's obvious that he has a bit of an identity crisis going on, which is normal for people like him. he is still figuring out who he is and what he wants to rap about. it's hard to evolve when you have a reputation and ppl already have these expectations of what you're supposed to say and do. pouya says that he is spending a lot of time in the studio and at coffee shops, which is exactly what he needs to be doing. pouya, if you read this, know that there are ppl out there who aren't judging you for changing and are happy to see you grow. keep that brain sharp.
He reminds me of early Tech N9ne. Spits with a crazy flow and puts in work to get his name out there.

Hey Adam , I'm a massage therapist - Can you let Pouya know that his anxiety looks to me more like a physical issue? He has a ton of tension in his back/shoulders/arms and should see a massage therapist or hit those spots with a foam roller / tennis ball every day and I promise he will see a big improvement in his anxiety. When you have that much tension in your muscles your nervous system can't function properly. Please let him know as this could be a fix for him. Drugs won't help shit.
