In most cases, there is no known cause as to why someone develops lymphoma. There are however, several risk factors associated with developing lymphoma. Some treatments used to treat other types of cancer might increase the chance of developing a type lymphoma in future, however most people who've been treated for another cancer do not develop lymphoma. I'm afraid we are not able to offer medical advice, however, we would suggest speaking with your doctor if you are worried or concerned about any symptoms, or changes you have noticed. We send our best wishes to you.
