I love it if you can print the atomail from Fullmetal alchemist with a 3d printer it will be a cool example on how 3d printers can print a complex 3d model with moving parts. :D
I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I was wondering if there's any technique we could use to melt a little bit of the same plastic and quickly apply it with say, a putty knife to fill in those seems? Do you think there would be a good way to do that?
With ABS you can use Acetone to smooth out the surface. With PLA I had luck skim coating the splits with spot putty (normally used for autobody repair). Then I hit the whole thing with 2-3 coats of high build primer and sanded it smooth. It takes some time but the results are great.
+Xenomorpheus It is not supposed to have a barrel. The principle of the "gun" part of the blade is to fire blanks to cause vibrations in the blade to cause more internal damage to the victim you are using it on. At least that is what I think it is for...

I 3d printed a pair of pistol sized portal guns. The lights are neopixels driven by a trinket.
I'd love to you see you tackle a Falchion from Fire Emblem Awakening.

SO COOL
Awesome channel.
that's so awesome❣ how much do the materials cost for the gunblade project?
how did you make the support material to just snap off? Did you basically just model thin custom supports for the gun?
I need the Hyrule warriors Ganondorf swords. Those are pretty big.
Predator shoulder canon with the three dot red laser.
Revolver cylinder is backwards... Scallops should be facing forward..
Is there a way to 3D print a translucent Illidan's Twin Blades of Azzinoth? Seems like embedded LEDs would be pretty straightforward.
omg I must have one!
So how did you add supports, I've never been able to find something to add them and I don't know where some would be needed or how thick. So how?
what 3d printer do you use?
Why not a stand arrow from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Adafruit?
Can u guys get the color fabb carbon fiber and do a review ?
