Sam Levin is a sociological genius. I am a positive change consultant who guides large scale change in organizations. I teach leaders how to empower their people.
Mr. Levin does the same thing. I want him in the Federal Dept of Education, guiding them in how to create empowering, impactful learning.
    Well done!!

This actually makes me think about the little experience I've had directing films and the tuition I've received... To be a competent director and to get the desired effects or emotions and what have you, you have to give your actors the motivations behind their character's emotions and words. This means you need a lot of trust in your actors but it works, and can often lead to positive things you didn't expect... Lovely idea Mr Levin.

When I say you have to give them the motivations, I mean rather than telling them "I want you to be sad and distraught as you say these lines" you in stead say something like "Your closest friend has just died, you've grown up with one another and nearly all the important moments in your life were shared with them" (you get the idea). In the same way Sam talks about giving young people the desire to look after the earth, not just telling them what to do.
