1:40 “I never got to meet you I left the draft early” well I I mean the kid was selected 1st overall I’m the 2018 draft so how early could that be lol lmao
Love this series. Very well done. Needs more from the Buffalo Bills as well.
finally another episode
" I get angry sometimes" - Rasmus Dahlin 2018
44 points his rookie season...that is really good! Not a Buffalo fan at all...but watched like 20 games with Sabres just to see this kid. And this kid looks already like a superstar...a few mistakes here and there...but he makes up for it. But i can´t understand why Sabres put him up as a Defensive D. His skills is amazing...even for a forward. Put him up as a 4th forward and magic will happen!
Talented young roster can’t wait to see em in the future
I hope Mittlstadt does well. I saw him play in the Minnesota state final and he’s got some great potential. Along with his 5 points in 6 games last year. I think he’ll do pretty well
Gavin Hawkinson kids a stud
One of the best gophers last year. Shame he left :(
I love this. I need to watch this when I'm down.
Yes. It’s exciting. Been through it many times with Buffalo. But yea it feels real.
With Mittlstaldt and Dalhin coming in... I can say that I'm a new Buffalo fan!
Not a Sabres fan but can't wait for Dahlin
"Sometimes I get angry"
Exact same as me
Let’s gooo buffalo!
I’am not a fan of this team but these videos are so good
that camp looked fun!! Great vid 🤩
I'm a Leafs fan but it would nice to see buffalo succeed in something for once, they haven't in my lifetime
you type well for a nine month old
Great series!
what does the coach say at 4:42? sounds like "auf gehts" which would be german for "hustle"
Sir Drinkalot the player asked the coach what hustle meant :) the coach told him in German because he’s presumably so.
kukkonen sounds more like a finn :D but i read that the coach played in germany for three years, so that's maybe the explenation :)
Kukkonen couldn’t be anything else than a finn
Malunity : Kukkonen is a finn lmfao not german :D :D educated
@@lukasmesaros9431 Kuk means a slang for Penis in Swedish! :) 2012-13 HK Brezno U18 Slovakia U18 2 19 2 3 5 2 -6
4:52 ... damn coach got hands.
1:53 What a dope coach lol Hey bud take it easy, wish I had a coach like that lol.
J Rez. It's a development camp bud. He's not telling the kid to "take it easy" He's telling him not to put too much pressure on himself, it's only development camp. Good coaching IMO.
Bro John Tortorella is not saying that to his best players lol, I agree that it is good coaching but many coaches are different.
DEVELOPMENT CAMP
I saw a bunch of Swedes on the ice. how many are there in the Buffalo system? AHL included
This is the development we need.. leaded my Mair his knowledge is amazing.. This is our future.. I hope it is I want another run
Why do I love this team
Let's go Buffalo
Ahem didn’t they already trade The Guhle ? I mean it looked as if he was putting on a display and gets rewarded just to be traded.
"What does hustle mean"😂
Not a sabres fan but can't wait for rusmas dahlin
Last place?? 😏
I play for the jr Sabers in this arena
Eichel?
Why wasn’t nylander at the camp
#BUST
Dear Kim Pegula,
I believe you have gravely misunderstood the concept of the game hockey. But you are supposed to keep the good players and not keep the bad ones. This will eventually turn into wins n playoffs appearances. Why trade Guhle ? And Nylander and bri g in frolik n simmonds ? No comprendo ? By the way ms pegula your hot would u like to join me for coffee one day it would be the greatest moment in my life if you would thanks
Kim Pagula. Fucking rocket.
Who dislikes this video?
Leafs fans
drilling your own tm8 lmao
Wasn't even that bad just a warning to keep your head up
Brutal
Lol he left the draft early lmao..... dahlin went 1st
How many here is Swedes?
pilut n dahlin top 2 dman in 4-5 years
new Jersey state
I was at day 3
Fire everybody
Dahlin went to my school lol
new York state
Does anyone else feel like it be way better if it was beyond they black and red instead of blue and mustard
No
No. Nobody does.
Dahlin better have good character. If he's moody and pointed like Eichel than this team is doomed.
dahlin got walked bad
The AHL coach treats these guys like they are 10 year olds
Will Robinson I agree but buffalo sucks, they get treated like children until that changes
Players will tune out if you talk to them like that. They aren't little kids.
Well since you didn't pay attention to the title, it's a development camp. A lot of these guys are only 18 or 19, so they basically are kids compared to NHLers. So if you want to be treated like a big boy then you need to prove that you can compete with the big boys. Until you do that you're still a rookie, which in the eyes of many veteran players and coaches, are still kids that have some maturing to do as hockey players lol.
Coaching is quite the opposite. You make sure what you have to say is well prepared and meaningful. He is saying meaningless things to them. In one ear, out the other. You have to treat your players in a mature manner and if they can't get to that level, you get rid of them because it's a waste of time.
Will Robinson yeah Coach Taylor must say a lot of meaningless stuff with his team atop the AHL standings. Sarcasm.... worry about yourself. That’s why we’re on the keyboard not ice.
Any gemans here ?? 04:39 ?? 🥴🤣🤣
Dahlin out here getting exposed
Dahlin was a bust lol
he just signed a 3 year 18 million dollar contract tho ?
The Pegulas are some of the worst owners in the NHL...
Overproduced garbage.
Try something: every time you actually see some hockey going on in this video, count in your head (one-mississippi, two-mississippi) and it will cut before you get to three--these zoomed in "action" shots where you can't see what's actually happening, yet there's plenty of time for long stretches of vacuous corporate-style good-feel monologues.
I was hoping to actually learn something about what it's like to train as a pro hockey player. This could be a video about a high school marching band development camp with minimal edits. Think about it: all this fake drama about an arbitrary and meaningless award, "It's all about building relationships", on and on--just edit in 2 minutes of band footage and you're there.
You mean, they showed something besides players training on the ice?
Wow -- could THAT be why the series is called "BEYOND Blue & Gold"??
The mind boggles . . .
Planarity, it's a development camp. The title also states "behind the scenes"
