King as you settle with your wife in Uganda you will realize that a Ugandans have ancestral grounds or village homes and only live in Kampala to work. These homes are in rural areas where Ugandans build their village retirement homes, farms and burial grounds. In your case its advisable to acquire land and build such a home in your wife's village because it is where you will be easily welcomed. This is not immediate but as time goes by you it will be a conversation you will surely have with your wife.
No it's not traditional that Ugandans only come to work but don't live in Kampala;a lot of us were born and raised in Kampala. Also,it's very wicked advice to the host that he settle among his in-laws - no wise person does that back home. It leads to a multitude of problems including; over familiarity and the extremes are murders to take a man's wealth - the case in point in Uganda is the proprietor of Kasiiwukira Studios. But there are many many more like the late accountant Katende etc.. In Uganda our wives will live wherever we have established ourselves and feel safe but never among in laws - culturally it's a taboo. The woman must leave her parents and follow the husband to whichever corner of the planet he goes - it's not like in western world where is divorce and such. Wow your advice is wicked and very misleading.

The universal public education that was part of the millennium goals a couple of decades ago has received a lot of backlash from even poor parents e.g. in Uganda it is called bona bakone vs bona basome i.e. let all fail vs let all study. In senegal and Gambia they burn waste and invasive plant species to generate electricity. Building facilities for generators to distribute this would be the beginning to even bigger energy distro systems
This is great wish someone can start this in Kenya 🇰🇪 coz Kenya power supplier are still rationing electricity... can you imagine in 2020 it’s still happening... very frustrating... if they get competitors it will be good
Actually its cheap for an ordinary Americans to start a business, an investment here in Uganda. With even 30,000dollars you can have a small startup in Uganda
Education lnregard to Public School. The American public schooling system is Uganda's version of UPE (Universal Primary Education) "full government sponsorship. Every District has at least 2 to 5 of these schools. " full government sponsorship" is because, government resources do come in abit late so parents still have to dish out btn 7,000-25,000 Ugshs for midmorning "snack" of porridge and lunch. In my area, Kiwafu, Entebbe, the UPE school performed so well but generally the stigma attached to these schools is that children are dense and teachers dodge classes but in all truth, its a very organized system. So yes we do have public school at a certain level (only primary school) so some parents do get stuck at high school and university level. Of course there lots of room for improvement
Hi there . Nice video . I have a friend from Uganda . He has a poultry farm . And I am thinking to invest in his farm to make it bigger . Something like $5k . But I have a question . How to make sure that my contribution of investment is safe ? Is there a place where I can go and register the companionship? I would love to hear from you .
13:25 hahaha you are becoming a true Ugandan if you've experienced those hustlers kicking you out of taxes. 19:00 ooo I am not comfortable hearing that....title in hand first before you hand over cash. I hope not but I can forsee him having to deal with those renters as squatters that don't wanna leave after he gets the title if he gets it. And squatters in uganda have lots of rights. Bottom line when it comes to any investment in Uganda, u best be ready to live in Uganda fulltime anything else you would extremely lucky for things to go smoothly. Lastly about med vac - great idea. Used Helis are plenty in Florida cheap...where one could have subscribers like a medical insurance for payment. You're thinking the right way on all you mentioned before. Try doing a collabo with bigger youtubers in africa like wode maya, he can get you 10's of thousands of subies just like that. Peace.
Im reading about a minimum $250.000 usd investment needed for foreigners is this true or just in order to get some additional priviledges from the government?
Thanks so much for choosing my country and giving a good representation. What is your email address? I'm in the UK and would love to discuss some collaboration if that is okay with you. Much love 🖤
We have PPP (Public Private Partnership) Government pays a percentage and parents make a contribution too. Some schools are fully private. It is a mixed system
@@kingobutunda9311 They are distributed regionally. Like in Kampala there is Mengo SS, Lubiri High sch, Nabisunsa Girls, Old kampala SS, Makerere college located inside makerere, Kitante Hill. And others distributed around the country. Government recruits and pays teachers through civil service and meets some other expenses. Parents meet the rest like feeding, scholarstic materials etc

Thanks for the information brother i hope to meet you in the near future. Army vet from Houston Texas married with 5 sons...i wish to get into farming. What are some of the food products that they import to Uganda? We've only been to The Gambia. There they import 95 pct of thr chicken. The market is wide open. Do u mind sharing ur fb page? If so, look me up. Peace n blessings to you...
Gotta tell you as s a kenyan who knows about these 2 neighbouring countries Uganda and Kenya.Uganda heavily transport their eggs to Kenya because of huge market demand, the Ug govt heavily subside animal products making it profitable for farmers, then there is fruits,Uganda supplies papaya, pineapples to kenya because of ever ready market.Consider that at the border because of laws of East Africa Community, food produts are not taxed. So if its to settle in Uganda you can buy like 5 acres which am sure most AAs can afford coz its affordable. And ontop of that You can put up some 2,3 green houses for plants like capsicum and tomatoes coz all year round its consumed in both countries. On issue of farm taxation I havent seen anything like that in EA.If you go itnto Agribiz, you will make clean money
Piece of advice. If you are really going into commercial farming, and you need extensive land, buy land in the north. For example in Gulu or Nwoya districts. The land there is super affordable, rain patterns are good and the soils are very fertile and there you will find enough man power and the lands are still virgin lands. In the central, land is abit more expensive, people do not want to work, and its not easy finding a big piece of land thats not divided up. Uganda imports tinned processed foods because we do not have enough processing plants. Uganda is a food basket of East Africa. We produce alot of food that we export to our East African neighbours, especially to Kenya, Rwanda, and Sudan. Tanzania produces alot of food as well.
Uganda has alot of food, its different from Gambia that imports even chicken. Maybe if you talking about doing farming in Uganda and exporting to the US. That would work better. Import duty is also very high even for very simple things because the government is trying to discourage some imports.
@@katharinajanka6636 people don't want to work like how?.. Hmmm.. Just say people have no jobs to do periodt and if you want to advertise land for a certain region, don't step on other regions coz when we talk about central it doesn't consist of Kampala. Central is very big, it still has large pieces of land which are not divided like in Kampala very fertile like my home village, land is large and fertile yet it's in Central

@@trendeous4070 yes the schools are of poor quality but that wasn't the point of discussion
Waste management you're very right.
Education you're very right but most especially vocational to pass skills like mechanics, electrical installation, IT etc but any one who can invest in vocational education would have tapped in something virgin. Public schools are there but they are underfunded that no teachers and education is poor so people opt for private schools.
Webale nnyo ssebo I am following you and sharing at the same time. God bless you
Thanks
Good vlog! Good insight! Good volume! Thanks
New subs 🙏🏼 welcome to motherland
Bro I've been watching a few of your vids I've heard of Uganda but knew nothing about it are there any African American hosting a tour of the area specifically Kampala
id like to pay a 2 week visit from the pacfic nrth west congrats on your marriage & I'm now a subscriber
Excellent content, Peace ✌🏿
Investing in daycare would be challenging . Generally, most Africans prefer to get a relative to care for their kids and if not a relative, they are more comfortable you come to the house and care for their little ones there
It's so common in Kenya, I wonder why it wouldn't work in Uganda.
Thanks alot for this video and Information. You're a real brother!
Hi thanks for the good work i am a ugandan ive been away for long time though i leave in uk i feel like transport in our kampala city really mass transport maybe talk about lite rail if any one is to do try to research about and agriculture uganda goverment can lease land and imagine if you dealing in coffee and exporting that to major companies in us or europe it make you hood returns please

Love your videos brother.
Much thanks for th information
What do u think about inviting meet and goat meet
In senegal and Gambia they burn waste and invasive plant species to generate electricity. Building facilities for generators to distribute this would be the beginning to even bigger energy distro systems
This is great wish someone can start this in Kenya 🇰🇪 coz Kenya power supplier are still rationing electricity... can you imagine in 2020 it’s still happening... very frustrating... if they get competitors it will be good
Actually its cheap for an ordinary Americans to start a business, an investment here in Uganda. With even 30,000dollars you can have a small startup in Uganda
What kind of a startups
This is very very good content, it is very developemental but not sexualising women!
As an African, scattered all over the world, now you wNt to return to mother land, how can get citizenship
Respectfully, the little hand continuously hitting the Subscribe button is really distracting. I really want to learn what you are saying. Thanks.
Have you heard anything about entebbe airport reopening soon?
Peace.
It’s probably 15-25
a month school, but wages are low.
Much love 🖤
I would like to invest in their education. I wish someone would show us how from the USA.
Email me at kingobutunda@gmail.com
We have PPP (Public Private Partnership) Government pays a percentage and parents make a contribution too. Some schools are fully private. It is a mixed system
Thank you for that information. Where exactly are some located? I would like to visit.
Thanks for the information.
@@kingobutunda9311 every village or town you go just ask around there is always a government school.

@@katharinajanka6636 thank you very much...
It sounds like wast business is something you should get into brother to build some wealth.
Yes,too much trash. We need a way to process this waste. It is an issue.
What do you do for a living? I want to move to Zimbabwe in 2 years.

Hello, What are the popular banks in Uganda, we have in America? Can you do a video on banking and housing in Uganda?
American banks not popular in Uganda, think I only know citibank. Otherwise banks like BOA, Chase, etc don't operate there. There are other banks like Barclays, Centenary, Dfcu, stan chart. etc.
