    初心者は上半身に意識行きがちですけど、審査が拮抗するにつれ、足捌きが審査判断基準になりますよね
    斎藤さんカッコいい

Why is cameraman zooming in and out , consequently spoiling a beautiful kata performance ?

If you have nothing good to say about kata then don't say anything at all. Keep your biased opinions to yourself! First know the purpose of kata before you judge. Then open up your mind to what kata is really about as compared to just simple mma!

@@leonardomonero9727 In what way is someone saying that "All of them are very good" biased?

I did not say that all of them are good. Again that's a matter of opinion. I was referring to how people see mma as a dominant fighting style as compared to traditional martial arts like Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Tangsoodo. And how people believe that practicing kata is a waste of time, when in fact the training of kata is in the techniques and how to adapt them into your fighting repertoire. Take a look at the movie "Never Back Down 3." And a scene of Michael Jai White performing a kata just before he stepped into the octagon with a mma fighter talking smack about how he was practicing a kata. And see how MJW destroys that MFer. Then asking the question again about what biased opinion I really. And don't get me wrong about MMA, I believe it has great uses in self-defense I just see it more as a shortcut to knowing how to defend one's self but more in a competion use than real life. Which what traditional martial arts was first developed for yet some of the techniques probably lost through time.

@@leonardomonero9727 There is no shortcut to learning self defense. You need to understand body mechanics, techniques, spar with many partners and figure out what works for you and what does not.

I've seen yellowbelts performing better than first karateka shown in this video (001). Hikete nearly not existent. Rotation not done on heel, open fists, Shuto uke too straight and much too wast space between ellbow and torso, and much more mistakes. He is the best example for the cause why obis exist, just to hold your gi together, color is not equal experience and skill.

I completely agree. His elbow for the knife blocks are too far away and for each step forward he takes during the back stance knife blocks his feet aren’t even close to coming together during the step.
